UFC President Dana White shared his thoughts about the entertaining UFC 114 event, headlined by the bad blood grudge match between Suga Rashad Evans and Quinton Rampage Jackson. After defeating Rampage, Rashad Evans earned a shot at Shogun Rua's Light Heavyweight title, in a fight that will happen probably on UFC's New Year card.

Dana White declared at the press conference that UFC 114: Rampage vs Evans at the MGM Grand Garden Arena was sold out, with 15,081 spectators who netted $3.85 million dollars for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Mike Russow, Jason Brilz, Rogerio Nogueira and Ryan Jensen were awarded $65k bonuses.

Arona is the fighter who really beat Fedor. He took him down, had him mounted for almost the entire fight and cut him badly. The judges gave Fedor the decision and the next fighter in the tournament reopened the cut and gave Fedor his only official loss. I've heard some explanations such as mounts not being scored, but I'm not sure in what universe Arona didn't win that fight. Tough dude either way.

Yeah, I watched that fight several times, Fedor won that fight rules, were different ,it was in Japan and Fedor was more the agressor in the 3rd round.

Dana is usually pretty good at going after the game fighters who will deepen their weight class...how can you not sign Arona? The guy has fought the who's who, beat Horn is his prime, went the distance with Fedor, beat Wanderlei in his prime, Henderson, Overeem, Ninja Rua, Lister and Sakuraba...it has to happen and after the first time he fought Rampage you know he's sick of being a highlight reel

I don't know how you can say a decision lived up to the height when both fighters promised a KO.

When they promise a KO it isn't meant to be taken literally really, it's a fight fgs, anything can happen. Also in their pre fight interviews they wouldn't sound right saying "well, i'm just going to wrestle my way to a decision, maybe take him down a few times and lay on him" would they? so they say sh*t like "I'm going to knock this dude clean out man" that's the fight game my friend........
