White also spoke about what's next for Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva, promising Mixed Martial Arts fans around the world that the rematch will take place in June, probably in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Strike 2 for Dana and the UFC. Before you have a baby and WEAK me.... I'm thinking Dana was hoping...just like in the 1st fight on FOX that there would be another Forrest/Bonner fight where it was a war and people started to pick up the phone to get others to watch. They haven't had that moment yet to really draw in the new UFC fan.

Don't get me wrong... I enjoyed the fights... long time fan. That being said, anyone who just tuned in to see what the UFC was all about last night might not have been very impressed with fights.

Like Rogan said.... the Mia fight looked like two drunk dudes outside a bar towards the end. We understand (long time fans) that the weight cut... can make or break a fight.

With Chael and Bisbing you had a lot of dirty boxing up against the cage ...again... a lot of new fans might not get what is going on and decide to switch the channel.

I'm sure at some point there will be a kill fight and Dana will get the big promotional fight they need to bring in new fans.... last night wasn't it.. and the 1 minute JDS/Cain fight surely wasn't it.

Pretty decent night of fights... prelims were better IMO.

    Can't wait for Diaz/Condit!!!

If you actually pay attention to what Dana has been saying and what ignorant people think about mma, you would know that the last thing the UFC need right now is a Bonner v Griffin type fight on FOX. WE mma fans seem to think the main stream haters will take to mma if they see a war but it would do more damage than good. If I had to pick a fight that would be the BEST advert for mma it would be Faber v Cruz 2. Neither guy guy gassed, Faber landed big shots here and there, Cruz put together some combos, both guys displayed how exciting wrestling transitions can be. Nothing to gruesome, but has all the ingredients. Bonner v Griffin was exciting to watch but did not display was MMA is about. There a million boxing fights like Bonner v Griffin.

I can see you point... but... how did the UFC exploded in popularity? It was the Bonner/Forrest fight... maybe this card didn't need exactly that... but... let's be honest... the 3 fights on FOX were a little lackluster.

Yea, it's embarrassing. It was kinda funny at first but it's just silly at this point. I think he's been talking to some kind of media-coach/friend who has convinced him to WWE-up his smack talk. This is MMA, not WWE. We don't need theatrics to be entertained when the fighting is real. I keep waiting for him to drop the act and be real.

I thought his smack talk seemed very out of place when he just narrowly won against someone that many people (including the oddsmakers in Vegas) felt he should have destroyed.

Chael sonnen calling himself GREATNESS after the fight!, yeah right he got beat up by bisping. Now he gets a title shot. A clear conspiracy to sell a bigger fight, sonnen vs Silva. UFC losing integrity and credibility after this sort of shenanagans.

I like when Dana tells us who he thought was going to win. Interesting.

Awesome how Dana speaks his mind even tho he can be wrong sometimes.Diaz/Condit should be epic and if you think about it, either Sonnen or Bisping will give Anderson some problems. doubt they would win but with anderson`s only hole in his game seems to be TDD which sonnen will take full advantage of again and play it more safe this time by not gassing out and applying hip control to stop submissions.imo

same as if bisping were to get a shot. every one says he would get destroyed but he is well rounded enough to take anderson down and cause some damage from top position. imo
