Dana should have matched kimbo up with Meathead at the tuf finale and this would never have happened. I mean in all honesty he looked horrible in the houstan alexandr fight. He just over powered him a couple of times. I knew that kimbos ufc career would be short lived as soon as i saw him on tuf.

UFC is a funny old beast, you throw a cheap shot after the bell you get kicked out, you throw a cheap shot when your opponent is already out cold before the bell (which has a greater potential to leave serious injury to recipient) and they'll argue that "it was in the heat of the moment" check out Rashad Evans v Sean Salmon or Henderson on Bisping both fights ended with equally cheap shots but no serious consequences.

Yes, people are more shocked by violent assaults that take place outside the fight. I'll try to explain, I know it's hard for you. One, is the sport, people are prepared and are aware and are required to defend themselves. The other is some animal attacking someone when they're not looking. Premature on Kimbo but Daley absolutely deserves the door. And there's no comparison the his actions, an assault, and Dan's second strike against Bisping which was 1) before the fought ended and 2) was without any input from the ref (to stop).

....and Evans vs Salmon? watch the fights again and both were blatantly cheap shots far worse then Daley's but in my humble opinion because the term cheap shot can now replaced with "assault" they feel like they need to be seen taking action. I personally just feel the decision was made too quickly.

Daley should definitly go.... as far as the Shawn Salmon fight and the Henderson vrs. Bisping fights. As a fighter you are expressly told to pursue untill told to stop, anything less counts against you in terms of aggression and octogon control. So punches after a guy is down but, before a bell or a ref steps in, well that's just part of the game.

Daley showed his true level of respect for the sport and got what he had coming. No matter what people say Dana White proves time and again that he actually cares about the sport and not just the money. Which really shows his intelligence, because protecting the sport is actually protecting his money. Daley got owned and had no answer. Sure he faired well but still had no answer.



As far as Kimbo is concerned, I have said from square one that he would never be a real contender. To little to late. I wish he and Dana had worked something out sooner, but he is now outside what would have been his prime. I still think the cut was premature because it was Dana's choice to give him a contract, so with that said how are u gonna cut a guy thats 1-1?
