Dana White confirms Franklin vs Couture fight for UFC 115; Ortiz will still face Chuck Liddell
Posted on March 14, 2010, 05:32 AM by Anton GurevichUFC President Dana White dispelled the rumors regarding a possible fight between Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin at Fight Night 22 on April 17th. Fighters Only Magazine reported earlier that the Ultimate Fighting Championship decided to counter-program Strikeforce's Nashville event with the entertaining Liddell vs Franklin headliner, but according to White, UFC "are doing Couture vs Franklin not Chuck".
Also, Dana White took the opportunity to clarify that "everything is okay" between him and the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz, meaning that the fight between "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell will go underway as planned at UFC 115 in Vancouver.
UFC's Vancouver event is still not officially announced, due to regulation problems that prevent from the Ultimate Fighting Championship to promote fights in the region. Nevertheless, The Ultimate Fighting Championship are preparing a very entertaining bouts for UFC 115.

Yeah, this is a very solid card. They got cro cop, thiago, sexyama, and silva on it. tito, randy, rich, and chuck aren't that bad either even though they are out of prime. I will definitely be watching both strikeforce and UFC.
I think this is a great card to counter StrikForce... but I think that StrikeForce is basically putting it all out there so it will be a great fight card too.
I cant wait to see them both!
