Dana said it indirectly and he's right. Look at these athletes and the way they act and carry themselves and then compare it to Floyd, his fight with Ortiz, the disgraceful interview with Merchant and other boxing events. Stark contrast.
This is one of the better blogs, I like how it shows how the athletes behave and have respect for one another, and it also shows how well of a machine, and how good of a promoter Dana is, When he was talking to Okami he was giving him words that he will def reflect upon when he replays his fight in his head over and over, and all the hard work that went into it. You got to give guys pick me ups like that during certain points of their careers.
The way rampage took the piss out of Jones staredown face at the end was comedy gold!
This was a good video blog. There is a well-oiled machine behind the scenes taking care of every little thing from doctors, to taping, entrances and exits. When I heard the staffer asking the fighter if he got paid yet, and he nodded--he just finished fighting and a cheque was already cut and given to him right after the fight.
When Jones did the staredown, he refused to look Rampage in the eye, and stared off over his right shoulder--so what does Rampage do? He turns his back on Jones, grins, and points to where Jones is staring.
LOL.
Cody McKenzie was sure p.o.ed. That was a hell of a fight though. I'd like to see him back after another stint in the minors leagues. Dont think he'll ever be the champ, but I enjoy his style.
