They judge based on UFC rules and scoring outlines - clean them up and give judges personal monitors for replays. Dana is totally in control to rework scoring outlines ...
scoring outlines are baced on agression, octagon control amongst other things. what can he change with that? those are the basis on how to judge fights (even in boxing).
If the judges actually did that and knew what those critireas actually means and understood things like aggressive guard vs passive top control and things like that then we wouldn't have much of a problem. But its like Dana said there is no way you could look at the Nam vs Garcia fight and give it to Garcia. It's like they just randomly put their points down.

Don't get me wrong, Nam was amazing , but his opponents ridiculous hay-makers ,dropped the quality of the fight by a ton.
Also, the event wasn't over yet when Nam asked dana for the fotn bonus, that to me shows disrespect towards other fighters who haven't fought yet, and that is what Dana told him, in other words of course "We'll see how things go next".
So Dana doesn't decide how the judges score but there is nothing stopping the UFC to call it like they see it. So move Garcia down the rankings and Nam up the rankings and when you talk about that fight later you say that Nam won it.
