UFC President Dana White looked back at the Ultimate Fighting Championship's long-awaited return to Japan, and the main event clash between Frankie Edgar and Ben Henderson. White admitted he scored the bout in favor of Frankie Edgar, but still agreed that the fight was too close to call. Another thing discussed in Dana White's interview is Frankie Edgar's potential move down to Featherweight, and the future contender in the UFC Lightweight division.

Yes, Dana you aren't a judge. Feeling a bit foolish about saying Edgar is top three on the p4p list?

Fightmetric had Henderson out striking Edgar in every round but the first, when they were tied. And that was in both total and significant strikes.

Exactly my thoughts. Frankie was never a top 3 p4p, he should have never been compared with AS,GSP, Jose aldo and jon jones. he never dominated the division like the fighters i just mentioned. It was stupid for Dana to say he considered him top3.

Its however you want to put it. Top 3 maybe not but the guy doesn't cut any weight to be at 55 which is one of the most stacked, hardest divisions in the sport and he beats top tier guys. Bendo wouldn't even tell Joe how much weight he cuts to be at 55. They're at the same weight for the time of the weigh in. Bendo looked like a welterweight compared to Frankie in their fight. Imagine how everyone would do at their natural weight.

Insane. These guys are invested in this kid to the point of being blind. I feel bad for Ben; it's embarrassing and unfair.

I scored that 50-45 to Ben, there were a few close rounds but Ben just did so much damaged and was very close to finishing Edgar 2-3 times. I think the Bell saved Edgar twice in that fight.

It's interesting how Dana scores running way and getting beaten to a pulp as a win.

This is Dana Code for - There will be a rematch.

I think there should be a post title rematch every time unless its a blowout. BJ got it against Frankie and I think Frankie deserves a 2nd shot.

I thought Ben won the fight convincingly however, and I don't think Frankie's gonna get the belt back in this division unless Gray somehow takes it in the future.

The rematch with BJ made sense since it was such a close decision. Maynard also made sense since the second fight was a draw.

Edgar got pummeled for 5 rounds. There should be no controversy/rematch.

I thought Ben won but would not have been surprised to see Edger get the nod.

I thought Joe Rogan was a disrespectful idiot.

The guy defends the title against two guys that are much bigger than himself (Penn And Maynard) one a former 170 lb champion, and then loses his second only fight in his division and the first thing Rogan does is essentially ask him if he is going to give up and drop weight.

I saw the fight going either way since "most-many: people believe you must win by more than a bit. Im ok with Ben getting it, he took no damage and Frankie did, that was my deciding factor.

I saw an interview with Helwani and Dana White where Ariel asks after Dana said he scored if for Edgar--"so given how you feel, are you going to give Frankie his winners purse?" White backpedalled and said that only happened when he thought it was a robbery.

I had Ben Smooth Henderson winning ALL 5 rounds--though a few were close.

Henderson clearly won the fight, and to think otherwise is just ridiculous. It's getting to the point where every decision is a "controversial" one, and "immediate rematches" are insisted upon. That's BS, Edgar needs to get back in line for another shot, it's someone else's turn.
