He's deliberately discrediting other organisations and fighters because it strengthens the position of the UFC. It has nothing to do with how talented the fighters are or how well the other organisations are actually doing. So, why do people listen to Dana White? Probably because we are all attracted to stereotypes and conflicts to some degree. Dana White is an aerobics instructor who wouldn't know a good fighter from his own a-hole. Stop listening to him and check out what Joe Rogan has to say about fighters. He seems much more level headed, fair in his evaluations, and knowledgeable on fighters and their strengths and weaknesses.
I have no idea why Dana White does not want to sign Fedor, in fact this would be a great time to sign him after a lost, why i hear people ask? well it's because Fedor might want to move away from an organization that he lost in. He (Fedor) might want to go somewhere different to clear his head. If Pride was still around the UFC would be nothing. Unfortunately , Pride made some bad decisions and went broke. Look for Dream to be the next Pride. Also look for Dream to show the Fedor vs. Lesnar/Carwin fight. Afterall, even Brock and Shane says " the best should fight the best". If their own is going to close the door on Fedor then they need to make a move to somewhere else because they are not fighting the best.

Dana could not tell you, with a straight face, that the UFC and in particular the HW division or maybe even LHW (if Fedor went down), wouldn't be better off and more competitive with Fedor in it.
Is he the best? Probably not, but one off night with Werdum doesn't eradicate his formidable skills. Even Werdum, after the fight, crowed about how great and wonderful Fedor "is", not was. In my opinion, Werdum was implying this guy is great and he was lucky, that night.
I like Dana, but sometimes he says some stupid things; this is one of them. It's like when he goes on about Chuck not fighting, again. He said that once before and Chuck was back; he's said it a second time and in my opinion Chuck will be back...he just says things, sometimes, that he really doesn't mean or is prepared to back-up; Paul Daley...give it a couple of years and he'll (probably) be back. As has probably been said earlier, fighting is a business, Dana White is a business man and promoter. He's deliberately discrediting other organisations and fighters because it strengthens the position of the UFC. It has nothing to do with how talented the fighters are or how well the other organisations are actually doing. So, why do people listen to Dana White? Probably because we are all attracted to stereotypes and conflicts to some degree. Dana White is an aerobics instructor who wouldn't know a good fighter from his own a-hole. Stop listening to him and check out what Joe Rogan has to say about fighters. He seems much more level headed, fair in his evaluations, and knowledgeable on fighters and their strengths and weaknesses.

I have no idea why Dana White does not want to sign Fedor, in fact this would be a great time to sign him after a lost, why i hear people ask? well it's because Fedor might want to move away from an organization that he lost in. He (Fedor) might want to go somewhere different to clear his head. This is not a new thing a lot of fighters will move from one organization to another just to be away from the fighter he lost to I guess it might be a familiarity thing but it makes sense. Walking around the same locker room bumping into the fighter that bested you might be a hard thing to do.
Now for the UFC i have read a lot of knocker of Fedor celebrate his lost. Well I tell you what Fedor being a competitor, champion, legend Do people really think that he wont come back better than before?? the UFC might be witnessing the re emergence of the "Last Emperor". They do not consider things like that. They just get emotional and type mindlessly. Kimbo, Toney, and fighters alike were paid accordingly I am sure, whereas Dana and Fedor will probably have a difficult time agreeing on Fedor's worth following his loss to an arguably #10 ranked opponent. Dana may still be willing to sign him, but not for the amount of money he was previously prepared to offer. Its obvious that Fedor's stock is falling and he has M-1 to thank for that.

Chill out guys, most of his talk is just business negotiation... And he never said he wouldnt join the UFC, he said that he wouldnt be brought in the UFC to fight the top contenders (at least right away).

He talks ****, he swares, he presents himself as he really his (not everyone in the world can do that) - not saying thats good or bad, just saying the man his genuine at least...
