In an interview with MMAWeekly.com, Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White discussed the upcoming UFC 139 fight card, and the headlining bout between Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and the former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Dan Henderson. According to White, tough and durable Dan Henderson definitely deserves to be in the UFC, especially after knocking out Fedor Emelianenko in his last bout for Strikeforce. UFC 139 will take place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, a venue that was previously synonymous with Strikeforce. The card will feature Wanderlei Silva vs. hometown hero Cung Le in the co-main event attraction of the night, with sights on selling out the arena to the local fight fans.

    1) You are the joke

    2) If he was so rich, he wouldn't have needed the Fertita's financial backing to purchase UFC in the first place

He is lucky that he was a childhood friend of the Fertitas. They felt sorry for this aerobics instructor and gave him this job.

End of the day, ufc is a business for Dana White. If he can purchase Strikeforce and gain a profit in doing so, can't blame him for being a good businessman.

just read all your comments on this thread and came to the conclusion that your a idiot.. how did all your comments get weaked? fighters enjoy the amenities they get from fighting for ufc. did you see how many fighters for strike force said they saw major changes in the organization of the events as soon as zuffa took over?

I never said you you can't say what you want, my comment was an opinion also. Sorry I didn't realise you couldn't have a discussion or have a different opinion without it being turned to an argument. Yeah cheers mate, you have a great day too, although it does seem as the whole world is against you, poor guy.

I agree he said stupid things about Hendo, while Hendo was being very respectful toward the UFC and Dana. Dana was probably just butt-hurt because Hendo was asking for another title fight with A. Silva, and more $$.

Also when Big Foot finished Fedor he said Fedor lost to HW who isn't top 10. Gotta love the logic

Can't blame Dana, he's got a business to run etc. I don't pretend to know anything about business ethics but i'm sure he's crossed the line a few times, but it is is his job. I do find it funny when speaking about Hendo knocking out Fedor, "he knocked out Fedor, he deserves to be in the ufc". I mean if he didn't think Fedor was good he would want Hendo in the UFC.

If it wasnt for Dana and the Fertita's, you might not be writing your ridiculous words on this website. They helped MMA to get where it is and get as popular as it is amongst people such as ourselves. A whole bunch of organisations, companies and websites etc have spawned as a result of their actions.

You clearly dont want to accept or give credit where its due. You sound like a very bitter person. Your just spewing out a ton of unnecessary negativity. 'too scared to step in the cage' LMAO. Maybe you didnt realise Dana doesnt fight.

Its quite clear you dont understand how some businessman have to operate.

Your right about one thing though, Dana wasnt the only person who knew about MMA. But If it wasnt Dana White and Ferititas who took the sport to where it is, you'd still be moaning about the person who did if they were in the same postion. lol

If you don't do it somebody does it. Somebody else would have come to bring MMA. It is just the rule of life. MMA existed way before DW and he just was at the right place at the right time. Maybe, Pride would still exist and be the largest organization and the UFC would be a minor organization.

I would still be watching MMAregardless if DW ever existed.
