you are a dummy. Thats like me saying i hope Silva's rib injury takes him out forever. if you want a good fighter to have his career ended then you should go play in traffic cuz your life is worthless =]
wasnt he defending him last week, sayin theres still more to come out about this..... yea yea Dana whatever he's changed his tune anyway two faced scumbag i can only laugh at your 'P4P' list what a joke
good fighter yes, good entertainer yes, good shit talker to people who have nothing to do with him yes. Hes a great fighter, he proved that against A.S. but the thing that makes his fireing and drug charges so much better is the fact that he talked shit to everyone and it came back and bit him in the ass. Karma!!!
No surprise that Dana feels that way... Even when his suspension is over and if the UFC even allows him back, Chael may decide to retire. He is not a young man and this has to be a pretty humiliating experience. Yes, I know he is not the fist guy to be caught, but considering his persona and the things he has said, I am sure the embarrassment has to be worse for him than it was for the majority....
Moving on, they tried Chris Leben... Here he is coming off of such a great run and two fantastic performances, everyone is waiting to hear who is next... Is it Wandi? Maybe a Bisping rematch if he beats Akiyama? A contender right? Wrong! He gets Brian Stann!? After stepping up for the UFC and putting it all on the line? After two of the most impressive outings he has ever had? What else does this guy have to do? Don't get me wrong, Stann is a good fighter, but he is 3-2 in the UFC!
As far as the recent releases, I am not surprised to hear about Rodney Wallace.... After all, he has gone 0-3 since signing with the promotion, however I do feel a bit bad seeings how his last opponent was replaced on short notice with one of the division's hottest prospects, Phil Davis. Tomasz Drwal on the other hand, deserved one more fight in my opinion. His debut didn't go well, but he followed up with a three fight win streak before dropping his last two, making him 3-3. I would also like to note that he finished his opponent in all three victories (2 TKO/KO, 1 Sub.). Then of course you've got the decision to cut Efrain Escudero. That one came as a bit of a surprise to most.... Not just because he was an Ultimate Fighter winner, but his resume is not bad considering the guys that he fell short against. Here's a guy with 13 wins and just 2 losses. Both by submission, one to Evan Dunham, who should be champ before we know it and the other to a guy who is nothing short of a guaranteed future star Charles Oliveira. The only thing I have heard in terms of a possible reason for the release was that Efrain was "getting to comfortable." Bad decision in my opinion.
i doubt Chael Sonnen is embarassed. judging from the way he acts and the way he is, he is gonna own up to this and come back just as strong. Chael Sonnen's ability hasnt diminished. He may have taken PED's to get better but he surely hasnt gotten worse. Silva on the other hand isnt looking as good as before. Silva retires before Sonnen IMO
Sonnen - I think you hit the nail on the head, with the embarrassment factor. I think that is probably worse then the actual suspension and fine. Yet, he's a big; he can suck it, if he wishes.
Leben - great point, but another way of looking at it might be that Silva threw Chris a bone; an "easier" fight. He's on a three fight win streak and maybe they're looking to give him a fight that might extend it to four; Wand or Bisping would be considered a higher probability of stopping that run; just a thought.
Oliveira - 14 & 0, with only 1 decision in the lot - future champ
Your assessment of the Leben situation crossed my mind as well. The bright side of it all is that he should now have that four fight win streak. They could be hoping to build him up a bit more before they put him "in the mix."
Even if Chael is done in the UFC, I'm sure he can thrive somewhere else. But... that's karma for ya. Maybe he will turn his life around. This might be a wake up call for him.
Great fighter use cheat drugs, show disrespect to actual champions, fight injured people and throw everything they've got at a guy for multiple rounds while barely doing any damage, then they lose and show disrespect again.
Man i'll miss that, where else can you find that kind of joker offline?
His carrer would be over because he got doing something that is a common secret bettwen pro athletes athetes and ALMOST EVERYBODY is doing it as well???
That shows the level of imaturity of the man who runs the biggest MMA show... using one of his fighters as a scapegoat to save face for his money machine.
Dana with all due respect...Shut The **** Up!!! Keep your views and opinions for that shame that you call self. Fans of the sport don't give a shit about what you are saying...you disrespectfull half-man in a grown man's clothes!

Good I hope he is DUN!
But I would like 2 see sonnen vs V. Silva before he goes.
Yeah... with no PEDs even during training. Let Silva beat the piss out of him.
Silva wouldnt beat the piss out of him but he will possibly beat him by submission
you are a dummy. Thats like me saying i hope Silva's rib injury takes him out forever. if you want a good fighter to have his career ended then you should go play in traffic cuz your life is worthless =]
All flashes in the pan qualify as "great fighters"
thats all i heard from that clown
wasnt he defending him last week, sayin theres still more to come out about this..... yea yea Dana whatever he's changed his tune anyway two faced scumbag i can only laugh at your 'P4P' list what a joke
i don't want that i wish him good life, i still think he is a good entertainer and he is a good fighter too.

MMA Live owns this show!
their Rankings are a joke!!
Chael's carrer could end? WTF?
Sherk , Vitor , Barnet and many more fighters have been in the same situation and they are still fighting that is Bullsh!t
Yeah but theirs careers were dead for a couple years after the incidents

Career could be over? That's stupid. The outrage is wildly disproportionate. Where was the hate for Leben?
How could anyone ever hate leben?!?!
Even if Chael is done in the UFC, I'm sure he can thrive somewhere else. But... that's karma for ya. Maybe he will turn his life around. This might be a wake up call for him.
Can't stand this host.
What happened to the attitude of half of use a few weeks ago: lets wait to hear what he says at the hearing before we crucify him?
@ Mr. Lee
I think we lost that rational and reasonable argument, Bruce.
I wish Leben was fighting a top contender, or a "Big Name guy"
Sexy gets to fight Bisping (who is super well known) as the #1
fight on the card, headliner... Then Leben gets Joe Schmo.
Why not Leben VS Wand ? ? ? WHY WHY WHY ?
ya ill Sharp my own comment, thanks
How did Sonnen show he's a great fighter? He didn't pass Silva's guard once and got choked out like he always does. against Bjj guys.
Great fighter use cheat drugs, show disrespect to actual champions, fight injured people and throw everything they've got at a guy for multiple rounds while barely doing any damage, then they lose and show disrespect again.
Man i'll miss that, where else can you find that kind of joker offline?
By doing what nobody else can do? I guess that's hard to understand...
chael sonnen = ****y sucker
yeahhh leben is back!!! :-D
Yea, ok Dana
