Dana White: Chael Sonnen has accepted the fight with Anderson Silva

The UFC recently announced that Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen would meet in the main event of UFC 147, which will take place at the Estádio Olímpico João Havelange in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The soccer stadium seats almost 47,000 fans when in use for that sport. When set up for UFC 147, it is expected that the crowd will rival or surpass the more than 55,000 fans that witnessed UFC 129 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
While MMA fans celebrated the announcement, one person said, not so fast. That person was Chael Sonnen, who said he had yet to sign a contract for the fight.
UFC president Dana White, attempted to be the voice of reason and said, “I’d have to hold press conferences just to squash all the (expletive) that Chael says.” White then continued, “The fight is happening. He has accepted the fight, and he will be with me in Brazil for the press conference down there.” – for more see MMAWeekly.
In the time leading up to the fight I am sure we will see more incidents of Chael being Chael.

Either way we know it's going to happens, unless an injury or Chael's murder at the hands of a Brazilian occurs (second much more likely)
Why would brazilians try to kill Chael before the fight happens ? They all wanna see him get spanked by Anderson. But if chael wins and makes some crazy disrespectful speech to the crowd, he will get murdered on his way out of the stadium.
Maybe Brazil shows will have a top to their octagons hehehe
i loved the interview with chael and they ask him why his levels of trt were 17 times the normal and that was enough for a elephant chael gets mad and changes the sub come on chael man up to what u did!!!

Sonnen's testosterone levels when he fought Silva were at 16.9:1. The average male testosterone ratio is 1:1. If you're taking testosterone replacement therapy, you are still required to have testosterone levels within a reasonable limit. The California State Athletic Commission allows for up to 4:1.
Which means Sonnen had a testosterone limit of nearly 17 times that of a normal human, and over four times the allowable limit
this is ridiculous. there was a live feed of his hearing with the athletic commission after it all happened. they didn't find elevated levels. they just found man made testosterone in his system. and due to the time that they tested him, they stated clearly at the hearing. that no one will ever know his levels on the night of that fight. anyone could go and look this stuff up. it's not just cuz I'm a fan. you people need to get your facts straight. and apparently so do the people that interview Chael. everyone wants to come up with an excuse for Anderson's pathetic performance that night.

well **** yes he has balls, all cage fighters do. anderson probably would not talk shit about another country as bad,and not put himself in that situation, he may have a little ego from the p4p title many give him, but overall i dont think he would stoop to chaels immature level of verbal combat. i mean really, in the history of mma, all the rivalries, etc, etc...who has brought it down to this level, other than chael...question...is he just picking a fight...or is he really so ignorant to think that the good ol usa is the only country on the planet
I knew that Chael would take the fight in Brasil. He's been building up to this for 6 months now. This fight is gonna be one to remember for sure!
