Dan Hardy would love the chance to face Nick Diaz

Dan Hardy is currently riding a four fight losing streak in the UFC, with his last win coming back in November 2009 when he defeated Mike Swick via unanimous decision. That win provided Hardy the opportunity to fight Georges St. Pierre for the UFC Welterweight title, a five round fight that he lost via unanimous decision.

When he faces Duane Ludwig at UFC 146 Hardy will look to break the losing streak that begun with that loss to St. Pierre.

If he does get past Ludwig, there’s another fighter that he would be interested in facing, Nick Diaz. “I would love to fight him. I’m a huge fan of his. He’s a very entertaining guy and he comes to fight and not everybody does that any more and I respect that.” – for more see FightHubTV

The latest thing is he wants either JDS or Ronda Rousy next.

I thought he wanted Leon Tabbs, something about not liking the work he does..being blood thirsty...didn't get it all.

Unless Hardy is a road to a title shot, I dont think Diaz is even paying attention to what he says. Another guy trying to get back in the hunt on someone else's name.

Jheeze give Hardy a break lol. It's not like he's saying he feels like he's in the position now where he deserves to fight someone in Nick's position in the rankings, just that he likes his style and think they'd make for an entertaining match up. I hope Hardy gets back on track and has rounded his game. Always entertaining and a cool guy

Dan Hardy is a great guy. After training with GSP and now with Mir ,Im pretty sure he is becoming good on the ground and more well rounded.

I really hope he will have the opportunity to show us his improvement in his next fight and win , cause he does not deserve to be cut.

Yes Hardy is a cool dude, but he better wins his next fight. Nobody stays in the UFC after a 5 fight losingstreak.

Best advice to Hardy would be to keep his mouth shut and train his ass off, because Ludwig is coming to SCHOOL him in stand up, then we can wave bye bye to Hardy and his stupid red mohawk.

If you watched the video you'd see his mohawk is actually black now pal, little bit of observation and you save yourself some embarassment. Awkward...

C'mon hardy's being ridiculous, first he calls out matt hughes, who defenitly has a better record than hardy, and now diaz, 1 of the absolute top fighters !

He should be glad he's still in the ufc after 4 losses in a row !!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong i do like hardy and i'm glad he's still in the ufc and yes losing to GSP, Condit, Johnson and lytle may still put him in the top 20 but he defenitly should call out lower competition than nick diaz ! LOL

He didn't really call out Diaz. The interviewer ask if he would like to fight Diaz and he said yes and gave Diaz his due respect. Totally different situation than how he called out Hughes.

Yeah you're right, i started writing with hughes in my head, calling him out when being on a losing streak got to me.

We all know that losing four in a row normally is a ufc ending, and most of us, like myself wanted to keep him for his style and personality.

He should just say who ever, o.k i'm done, still like hardy as long as he doesn't call out bigger names in this stage of his career ! peace !
