Dan Hardy vs. Anthony Johnson in works for March 2011Posted on December 26, 2010, 06:02 PM by Joey Santosus
UFC Welterweights Dan Hardy and Anthony Johnson have reportedly agreed to face one another in a bout expected to take place as part of the unofficial Ultimate Fight Night 24 card on March 26th in Seattle, Washington.
Hardy had won seven straight before dropping a title fight to Georges St. Pierre in March and suffering his first ever knockout loss to Carlos Condit in October. "The Outlaw" will need an impressive victory here as he looks to reassert himself as part of the division elite.
Johnson has been inactive since his November 2009 submission loss to Josh Koscheck. "Rumble," who had racked up three-straight knockout victories prior to that match-up, had hoped to bounce back from defeat when he faced John Howard in March, but was unable to compete due to a knee injury suffered in training. With his health now in order, Johnson will undoubtedly look to make a statement in this one.
