Dan Hardy vs. Anthony Johnson in works for March 2011
Posted on December 26, 2010, 06:02 PM by Joey SantosusUFC Welterweights Dan Hardy and Anthony Johnson have reportedly agreed to face one another in a bout expected to take place as part of the unofficial Ultimate Fight Night 24 card on March 26th in Seattle, Washington.
Hardy had won seven straight before dropping a title fight to Georges St. Pierre in March and suffering his first ever knockout loss to Carlos Condit in October. "The Outlaw" will need an impressive victory here as he looks to reassert himself as part of the division elite.
Johnson has been inactive since his November 2009 submission loss to Josh Koscheck. "Rumble," who had racked up three-straight knockout victories prior to that match-up, had hoped to bounce back from defeat when he faced John Howard in March, but was unable to compete due to a knee injury suffered in training. With his health now in order, Johnson will undoubtedly look to make a statement in this one.

Ya this should be a good fight, honestly idk who to pick, Rumble is coming off a surgery n like a yr lay off, so hes going to hve ring rust, that being said he could KO Hardy with one punch or kick especially if he using his reach advantage...even though ring rust is real im going with Rumble via KO

I respect Johnson alot, but Hardy has had over 30 mma fights, he's fought bigger guys than him and KO'd them. I could see Johnson missing with a big shot and getting clipped...Who's what is gonna happen, should be an awesome fight!

with hardy coming off two straight losses hes going to be more fired up than ever. johnson is very powerful and explosive but has questionable cardio. both men can ko eachother and could be an all guns blazing war. i hope the ko hardy suffered doesnt make him question his game i want him aggressive and looking for the ko! should be a good one

Wow i cant beleive eeveryone is picking Johnson, I got Hardy winnnin this quite easily.
Hardy's most significant advantage might be in jiu jitsu. But it won't be easy for him to take Johnson down. I kinda like both guys, but i'm thinking this fight could be as 50-50 as any fight coming up.
