Dan Hardy (23-7) will look to rebound from his tough loss to Welterweight champ geroge st pierre. The Brit will be facing fellow striker and last WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit (23-5) in his home country. This will most likley be a stand up war and someone might be going to sleep as both fighters have knockout power. UFC 120 will take place on Oct. 16 at the O2 arena and will be aired on Spike Tv

    Man I can't believe you guys like the matchup. This should be an easy one for Hardy. I think the Hitman fight would have been a lot harder for Hardy.

    Why would u guys want that fight? I mean no offense to Hardy, but he is coming off a loss and with Kampmann's impressive victory over Thiago, on paper that would be a step back for the Hitman. They are probably going to match him with someone else who is closer to contention.

    Condit shouldn't be underestimated here. He can stand and bang and his ground game is definitely better than Hardy's. This could be a razor close fight.

    It's not an easy one for Hardy. Condit's ground game is much better.

    I see Kampmann fighting the winner of Alves v Fitch since their will be alot of time between KOS v GSP

    @a222g and SUC

    Fitch should get a title shot if he beats Alves. The guy has done enough to get another shot.

    Like a222g said tho, GSP will be tied up for quite a while.... First all the time leading up to the Kos fight and then recovery and training time for the following bout... so in the mean time I could see what a222g is suggesting possibly taking place.

    Yeah but it sure sucks that Fitch isn't in TUF 12 as a coach for a title shot at the end and he seems he would be a great coach as he is a very hard worker and appreciates the climb.

    I think that Condit will try and use his awkward tactics on his feet and with the great striking Hardy has he will more than likely get the KO

    this is going to be a great fight. I got hardy winning this fight, condit is great an all but i dont believe he has the hand power to knock Hardy out and or submit him. Hardy by pure destruction.

    Good match-up.

    I see this as the second, in what I believe will be a continuing series of losses, for Dan Hardy; he's okay; ego and trash talking, should never be a fighter's "best" skill; which it is in Hardy's case.

    I'll take Condit, in this one. He's a great fighter and a tough guy; and he'd be a solid fight for GSP, in the future.

    this is a good match up both guys tough as hell. hardy is probaly the better striker but condit is a way better grappler so its pretty hard to pick. if hardy can keep it standing then i give him the edge. if condit can take hardy down the gotta give it to condit

    condit was getting his ass handed him to him by markham until the 3rd. maybe ring rust got to him i dont know. I just think hardys hands are gonna win this for him. condit has good ground game but he cant stand and bang with hardy
