Im starting to like this guy though i dont think he has a lot of chances, except a real lucky ko punch.
dan hardy will get dominated
ya, hardy basically has no chance, hardy striking is going to count for nothing when GSP turns the fight into a wrestling match
he didn't need to admit it,we all knew that.
he has nothing to say to make me like him even just a little bit.
i am a huge fan of both guys and do hope Dan pulls it off but i think he should have been put up against Thiago Alves first.
Guys, GSP is in a different league...He is an elite fighter...I don't personally believe that Hardy is in any way more skilled than Alves or Fitch...Like any top fighter he has a slim chance at winning. However, should GSP fight smartly and avoid mistakes, he'll outwrestle and submit the Outlaw...I hope the fight doesn't end too quickly like the one between Valasquez and Big Nog...I want to enjoy the exchange between these great fighters...
MMA Connection: Georges are you concerned about Dan Hardy?
Georges: I've got chunks of guys tougher than Dan in my stool.
bet hardy he is clearly zen or some shit in the ring. he has better hands than gsp if he doesn't gas after 5 rounds he has a good chance of winning. gsps wrestling is overrated because he beat josh kosh but he lost the 1st round and if josh had more endurance he would have lost all 5.
It was three round fight lol:)
And no he wouldnt!
I cant wait to see if Hardy draws GSP into a trash talking war like he does with every fight as the fight gets closer, and Dan Bisping dosent always get the raw end of a deal alla Bisping Hamill decision which he clearly lost that fight.
Hardy has no chance to 'dominate' this fight - even if he somehow wins, GSP would smash him in the re-match. Also, GSP has very good stand-up - it's just he has matched his against the premier Welterweights on planet Earth while Hardy fought some schlubs and then decisioned a few UFC guys (Marcus Davis hardly counts as 'elite' opposition IMO).
Not sure if I can post this, but:
http://www.mmanalyst.com/articles.htm - a piece about GSP's stand up and his supposedly 'weak' chin.
If Dan stays back, and throws some kicks he may have a chance
throwing kicks wouldnt be a good idea against a wrestler like gsp
Dan has similiar style to Anderson Siva figh backward with counter pounch accuracy , stay back throws some kicks and if good defend take down ...would be a plus
I like GSP a better level of fighter and Hardy is a big underdog to everyone out there, but.I don't think that , Dan 'The Outlaw" Hardy doesn't has a chance and deserved a title shot and Dana White would let him fight GSP on a big event ! I'm not saying that he going to win ,but don't count him out...anything can happen in MMA .
Dan Hardy is a wannabe!! he'll be lucky to come out of the octogon under his own power!
