Hardy has a lot of potential, I'm glad he didn't pull a 'Daley' sucker punch after GSP beat him

OK fair point maybe what it is is prejudice. Most fighters always have a lot to say before fights regardless of where they come from, its not really the original comment that annoyed me, more the ignorance involved in tarring all british fighters with the same brush. people like the guy below me who say British fighters are not the best in the world obv have a warped concept of what makes a good fighter, its not where u r from its where u are

I'd like to see Hardy V Alves. That could potentially be a very good fight and it makes sense ranking wise. Unfortunately, I think Alves V Fitch is already in the works. The other fight I think makes sense is Hardy V Serra. I'll probably take some "weaks" for that but I think that fight would show where Serra stands in the division and test Hardy's 10th Planet skills.

not sure if hardy would want to fight serra. They seemed like pretty good friends in the build up to the gsp fight in hardys training camp. Not sure how deep it goes but you never know. I would like to see hardy alves aswell. Think that fight would be brilliant. maybe hardy vs saunders aswell but i think that would be a step back.

Hardy vs Alves could be the best fight at 170 beside from a title fight

as far as Serra he should fight bj at 155 or 170 if bj comes up

He wants attention. Which is understandable. But, the fact is that Daley vs Hardy would have been an even fight, or leaning toward Daley. Dan (who I like), would not have done that to Daley. In fact Dan might have been knocked out.

Kudos to Dan being respectful toward Georges. But that's a major difference between someone like Dan and someone like Georges. The guys who make their way in to that top-P4P conversation don't ever think that it's nice to not have to train. Different mindset. Georges doesn't have to train as hard as he does to beat his competition. He trains because he's driven to train, you don't have to encourage him.

I dont think he was saying its nice not to train ... infact the opposite. He said its nice not to be promoting fights and doing public appearences etc which u need to do alot when fighting. Now he can settle into more training and learning.

Dan as a fighter respected a fighter is a good thing about Martial Art and every Masters has a rules - fight for justice or Professional not for tough and fun. And on the top of the game fundamental for a Champion is "work hard payoff” Keeps learning is a key to success and always to adapt the new fighting skills, created your own style, strategy and improving the weakness.

True, well said. I don't think he compares to GSP in that regard though. Georges learned to wrestle in MMA, because he had the foresight to know he was going to need it, and he worked so hard on it that Canada asks him to wrestle for them in the Olympics. Most people to get to that level, eat breath and sleep thinking and obsessing about wrestling. From high-school through college, he wrestles like an Olympian with 20 years of experience competing in pure wrestling. That's how hard he works. Whereas Dan is playing catch-up. Geoorges would never have progressed in his career so far, with such a massive hole in his game.

Dan may never touch the belt, because he's helpless to dictate the fight against a wrestler. Not until Georges vacates it.

Hardy calling Koscheck a b*tch? ...now that's a good one.

With the exception of Ross Pearson, every well known Brit fighter is a loud mouth immature whining b*tch!

BTW Hardy, People actually analyzed the knee incident video involving Koscheck and Daley and it's shown that Kos was actually kneed with the left just before Daley made a mad attempt with the right. Did Koscheck over play it?...yea he did but the fact remains, Daley the whining b*tch, threw an ILLEGAL knee.

These Brit fighters are an annoying bunch. If it isn't Bisping hoping for the judges to give him another false decision, it's Hardy trying to call out other fighters with that ****y whining attitude of his.

Yeah, I thought it glanced. It doesn't matter if it only barely touches, hard knee-join versus scalp will make an impact. He made his plea for the point, and probably should have gotten it. The fact is that you're not supposed to throw illegal knees to downed opponents, and Daley knows it. He did it because he was mad about getting his dumb-ass kicked.

The stoppage only helped Daley, just as any impact from the illegal knee did. He was outclassed.

we all know how much of a whining, acting, oscar winning bitch Koscheck is, bar you it seems, are you an actor? At no point, AT ALL, did Daley make contact with Kos' eye, and don't rely on other peolpes opinions you fool, go and analyse it yourself then maybe you will see. I suppose you think AJ poked him in the eye too dont you? Have you never seen a fighter miss time throwing a knee as their opponent gets to their feet either, that shit happens all the time in MMA, Kos's acting perrformances dont, that dude went to drama school for sure man...........

Also the only person with a "shi**y whining attitude" that annoys people is you, so never mind the shallow, nasty, anti brit stuff, try and write something constructive........idiot....

terra2805, you are wrong. For the past week there is video going around showing Daley's LEFT knee striking Koscheck before Daley throws the right knee. It's the right knee everyone ( including Dana White) can clearly see that only glances Koschecks hair. The left actually made impact but you can't see it during regular viewing.

The vid is in slow motion up close and you can clearly see Koscheck reacting to the hit .

Many people who were slamming Koscheck for acting have taken back their words and apologized. BTW, I'm hardly a Kos fan. I couldn't stand him from the time I watched him and Bobby Southworth acting the snot fools on TUF.

Ok, so Daley was talking all the sh*t in the world pre-fight, then he couldn't hang w Kos. Even when they were standing, he couldn't do sh*t. Kos hurt his ego bad, like real bad. So bad that he resulted to cheating, trying illegal strikes and eye-gouging to hurt Kos. Then when he lost the fight and had no pride left, he throws a sucker punch.

Daley was the disgraceful little bitch, and what a p*ssy.

Exactly SB. Whatever anyone thinks of any fighter, excusing Daley's actions is completely idiotic.

Koscheck's face was damaged in several places, and none of which were from legal strikes. Cut on the nose from the illegal knee, and scratches from eye-gouging.

That idiot pissed away millions of dollars and shattered what potential he had in his career. He's going to fight for peanuts in the various fringe organizations, then he's going to retire and become a bouncer.

I bet he says it's Koscheck's fault too.

Oops didn't see that. Yeah, he kneed him between the eyes. And Koscheck's eyes were both gouged up after the fight. Not from punches, just as the cut on the nose was not from punches. He was thumbing him in the eyes because he was angry about being dominated.

Yep. Daley the punk biatch kneed him right between the eyes with the first knee. The second one missed, the first one made dead-center contact that cut Koscheck's nose between the eyes.

    http://tinyurl.com/2djnm4l

Someone should upload that as an article. The fact is that deniers simply don't care if the dirty fighter gave an illegal knee. Koscheck wasn't lying. Daley is a turd.

Incredible strikers with no wrestling will continue to lose. And continue to lose, and continue to lose. They will either add wrestling to their skillset, or be content to only win against other strikers.

Say what you like, Hardy hasn't got anything to prove to anyone, least of all a bunch of keyboard warriors, he proved what type of fighter he is against GSP, he got beat yes but he didn't take half as much punishment as some of GSP's previous opponents, look what GSP did to Fitch, he looked a right mess and he's a solid wrestler. How any of you guys can defend Koscheck after all that acting bulls**t.....TWICE i dont know, it's not my idea of how a fighter should act, he is a good fighter no doubt but the guy is one serious pu**y......

Hardy will never have more than a punchers chance of beating Koscheck. His wrestling will never, never be at Koscheck's level, and no matter what GSP said Hardy will probably never be the champ. There's too many guys that are more well rounded than him. And the "whole line of people" who can give Koscheck a beating includes maybe 2 or 3 fighters at 170.

He needed or wanted two more months (of wrestling) to prepare for GSP - LOL!!!

What would two more months of wrestling have done to prepare him for the best wrestler in his division and one of the best wrestlers in the UFC? The concept is laughable on its face.

It's one of the big differences between guys like GSP and Hardy; GSP is an athlete; one that picks things up quickly. Hardy is a grinder, some skills and chops in certain areas, but not really a master of anything.

I think the only reason he didn't get his arm or shoulder broken is simply not other reason other then the fact, that GSP is a "nice" guy. GSP is more then strong enough to have put him in some seriously messed up (hospital and recovery time....maybe never to come back the same way again), but he didn't; for some reason and I believe the reason is, because he's "too" nice a guy; come on...he's Canadian. What Canadian is going to rip your arm off? It's not in their nature. Had that been a guy like Frank Mir or Paulo Thiago....see ya. LOL! Good bye shoulder...LOL. I remember GSP had him and he looked up at the ref...as if to say...man, you're not actually going to make me break this idiot's shoulder, are you?....Frank Mir would had never looked at that ref...it would have just been a big "snap"...good bye to dude's career, for the next two years or forever.

Bottom line - Hardy got a pass from a master that was "too" nice. The question really is - what did GSP learn? Did he learn, don't look at the ref...just break the shoulder.
