Daley Again Insults Koscheck: "He acts all special but heâ
Posted on April 28, 2010, 02:37 PM by Daniel CassidyThe man who could perhaps be described as the most dangerous striker in the UFC's welterweight division, Paul Daley, has once again verbally assaulted his upcoming UFC 113 opponent, while the usually brash Koscheck remains quiet.
Speaking to ESPN.com, Daley reacted to previous assessments of his two UFC opponents prior to the koscheck bout, both of whom he ko'd in devastating fashion:
“Koscheck was actually in my training room for my first UFC fight against Martin Kampmann, and he was backstage after I knocked out Dustin Hazelett as well”
“He was just acting cocky and being the absolute c**k that he is. He acts all special but he’s just a c**k really. He’s a major irritant, that’s what he is”
“He’s a d**k. He wants to be a superstar, but the problem for Koscheck is… nobody likes him. You have to have the ability or you have to be liked to be a superstar. Koscheck has neither.”
“Let’s talk about his style. He’s not that great a wrestler. His takedowns have been stuffed by almost every opponent he’s faced. He can’t kick-box for c**p, not if his life depended on it. If he tries to stand with me for even a second, I fear for his well-being. And his ground and pound is c**p. If he grounded and pounded me in my sleep he’d barely have enough power in his punches to wake me up.”
Should Daley get past the well rounded TUF veteran, many expect the winner of this bout to determine the coach of TUF 12, rumoured to be opposite welterweight king GSP, which would guarentee a title shot and cement their status as number 1 contender.

Koscheck is a bad wrestler? Daley lets see you takedown GSP or even take him to a decision. He says Kos is soo ****y but i havent heard a thing from him, all ive been hearing latley is how paul daley is gonna KO koscheck and that his striking is the best.... who calls someone a **** anyway?
Even if Daley wins this fight i don't think he deserves to be a TUF coach after only 3 fights. He doesn't even seem like coach material to me.
i agree but the ultimate fighter thing if it's true is a ploy to keep gsp out of action for a bit and stretch things out dana's no dummy. i really think dana wants daley to win. for these reasons. 1 gsp has already beat kos and fitch that's why hardy got a title shot and you have to ask have either of them improved enough to beat gsp. 2 if daley wins then that puts more pressure on kos and fitch fighting each other something dana really wants to see. 3 even with shields coming in gsp is running out of NEW genuine challengers at w/w. and by the time the new tuf coaches square off the l/hw and h/w division will seriously heat up. MAN I LOVE THE UFC
i think its bullshit that they give GSP so much time between his fights. I think hes one of the p4p best but still 1-2, 3 if we're lucky matches a year is lame. look at bj he gets in 3-4 and doesnt complain....I bet thats why GSP is so good, cuz he gets 3x more time to train then the other guys
yeah I am not a hater but I feel you may be right. To me p4p is thrown at every champ that dominates their division. I see Anderson Silva as p4p best in actual skill(that means setting aside toughness, track record and such), I see Fedor or Urijah Faber as the toughest and I see Fedor, AS, Jose Aldo and Bj penn as the best overall in terms of every quality a fighter needs. GSP is great and probably best in his division overall but I don't see him as p4p best mma contestant, maybe one of the best wrestling pratitioners in mma. I think he has great personality and skill but his actual all around skill I don't believe are super stellar. The other fighters I have mentioned here along with some others I havn't mentioned fight like warriors and GSP seems more like an olympic sports athlete keeping it in his safe zone. Just my opinion.

It's like their trying to impress each other with their fearlessness and get all the hooters chicks to notice how badass they are. I am sure they each have harleys that have guns and dragons painted all over them that have never been driven. This is where a freak double knockout would be satisfying.

After Kos beat Anthony Johnson he pointed out that Hardy hadn't really fought anybody and shouldn't be up next for a shot at GSP. I'm not a huge fan of Kos, but I tend to agree w what he said, and obviously the truth hurt because now Hardy's buddy Paul is running off at the mouth. Except he hasn't really fought anybody reputable either besides Jake Sheilds and Kampmann, and he lost to Sheilds. So really his only notable win was against Kampmann.
you almost forgot, he thinks he's the man because he knocked out "mclovin". I'm surprised he's not going straight to the hall of fame with the competition he's fought.
