I would bet you money that Shogun will lose today even though I know in order for Machida to win by Decision he will really have to dominate Shogun. Machida is not the easiest fighter to Knock out.

I agree cage is better then ropes but except for that I couldn't disagree more, especially the scoring system is horrible for mma.

i'm rooting for shogun. then hopefully rampage will beat rashad then we can see rampage v shogun or shogun v machida part 3 some time in the future

Machida TKO. He lost that last fight, or it was a draw, he's going to be aggressive this time. He was winning the major exchanges in the last fight, Rashad couldn't come close to boxing with the guy, Lyoto won't let himself get picked apart waiting to counter this time.

Don't agree, imo every striking exchange ended with Shogun landing clean and sending Machida on the retreat while Machida landed maybe 5-6 clean strikes in the entire fight. I mean Shogun didn't even have a bruise on him after the fight while Machida was busted up in the face, limping, broken hand and two busted ribs.

Honestly I don't see a finish at all. I think these guys are too stubborn to be finished. Machida will outpoint by attacking and running away like usual.

I like Rua too ,but I personally think Machida still better fighter and due to the rumor said from first fight and the most of fans and including Dana criticized him, just motivated him far more better with his technical skills and game plan strategy to finished with OTKO leg kick just ain't work this time

Excepts Dana the ruler doesn't wanted him in LHW division any more due to the pay cut and promotion .The organization looking for the new champ to vacating him.

Personally I think you are right that it motivates him but I also think it will make him reckless and he will not fight his own fight and get caught coming in. TKO Shogun.

This must be the closest poll I have ever seen on this site so far, with good reason. I don't think anyone with half a brain could say they were sure how this fight will go one way or the other. I personally give a slight edge to Shogun but its not more then a 5% edge.
