The Diaz brothers can strike, but they don't have much on them. George would have him on his back fairly easily.

to be honest i think gsp is afraid to move up weight class imo welter weight and middle weight are basically dead, and lhw is where the competition is at

I dont think anyone outside the ufc can trouble GSP, anyone who can trouble GSP are already in the ufc, like diaz, shields, gono etc. all will get taken down time after time and lost via tko or decision

theres a big difference in nick and nates ablity right now, especially in striking. Nick would be the best challenge. GSP is going to take anyone down and nick has the best chance out of anyone to do something from that position

I wouldn't be confident enough to put money even on Anderson against George... He's really a freak.

strikeforce fighters can't fight in the ufc bro. unless they quit strikeforce. gegard mousasi just quit strikeforce. he has more of a chance to actually fight than anyone of these guys.

you need to read a comment, think a moment, and then post. not just wing it off the cuff man. it will prevent this problem of yours i see in every post where you say stupid things and then attack people until you feel better about yourself. needless to say, you misread my comment and i have no idea what you are talking about. stop posting 15 times in every thread. i'm trying to find the few decent comments to read and you make it a lot harder.

do you get off on correcting people? do you need to be heard that badly? do you think i want to respond to meaningless one-liners that add nothing and just serve to pick fights with and insult people? you sir are what we call a troll and you have just wasted 5 minutes of my day with your pontificating ego masturbation. you win sir. well done and have a good day.

All the fighters you named are two weight classes above GSP and at the top of the LHW division. Of course they'd beat him. Yes, fantasy land.

I picked Jake cause all of GSP's fights end up on the ground where Jake is pretty good at.

I agree with your comment the most, just I would substitute shields for a different caeser trained. I think shields stand up would keep him off the list. where diaz's jits in my opinion is nastier he just doesnt rely on it as much. critics are always on his power punching cuz he doesnt put much on them but go down his list and he has a few impressive kos/tkos for no one wanting to go to the ground with him.. but when it comes to boxing for points nick definitely takes it. which then it wouls come down to gsp taking him down every 10 seconds, and see if diaz can catch him in 5 rounds and I believe he can. . Im not saying betting odds are in Diaz's favor, just if someone was going to catch the beast that is gsp it would be nick....or jerseys shore the situation

Which is an idiotic way to describe the fact that he completely dominates and manhandles his opponents and they're helpless to do a thing about it.

I am a GSP fan, but I must say that Diaz certainly has the skills to fight/brawl/wrestle with GSP.

In Paper I think he could give GSP trouble, he has good boxing and BJJ, but so does BJ Penn and look what happen to him... But I bet it would be a good match, Nick Diaz is crazy...

I don't think anyone can beat him at this moment but GSP can have a bad day again like he did against Matt Serra. Call it a fluke or not Matt Serra still won the fight. This is MMA, therefore anything is possible. Anything can happen on any given day.

Nick Diaz would be a great opponent.. his stand up is either equal or better than GSP. GSP is a better wrestler but Diaz has much better submissions therefore it would be more of a stand up match... I think Diaz would win by decision

Nick diaz is not that bad and he destroyed zaromski really bad and he was a champ so of the list thats the one maybe a littlebit shields but in the ufc for sure there are a lot in other weight clases like anderson, jon jones and some heayweights but that would never happen

Nick Diaz forsure the only reason he isn't in the UFC now is because of his refusal to even try to piss clean for pot on fight night.

thats not true actually.. he didnt get his contract renewed after a rough patch of losing to diego riggs and sherk, but a lil while later ufc needed a fighter to fill in and fight neer on short notice which he did and won then followed that up and beat tibau but instead of taking another ufc fight he took some gracie tourney fight instead then got cancelled...he liked the opportunity to fight in different organizations and fight as much as he can which he cant do in the ufc. and its not the organizatons drug test its the state athletic commision which california is the only one he has problems with which just started recently due to personnel change, which ufc may actually serve him better due to strikeforce being cali based...and also u gotta figure hes a star in strikeforce which has gotta feel good and wont be the same where theres brock anderson wandy gsp and penn...alright done with this nov el

He is no longer a 'big' welterweight (and at 5'10" with a naturally lean frame) his move to Middle-weight would be a tougher go than Anderson Silva moving to Light-heavy for example, or BJ moving between Light and Welter weight, but that being said - GSP is so explosive, agile and smart and has exceptional skill sin all aspects of MMA that he could easily be a legit top 5 Middle-weight in short order. Time will tell what he does. Though I'd love to see some crazy record set in WW, like 15 straight title defences or whatever...

no matter how you analyze it, i think anderson silva is the only one that can beat gsp right now (or bj penn with his new found conditioning), if gsp takes anderson down, anderson definitely has chances of submitting him, after all, he did submit travis lutter which is a highly accomplished grappler by the way. and he definitely would dominate gsp in the stand up like he always does in his fight (no one nearly has the same stand up skills that anderson silva has in mma). that being said, gsp is the only man who can beat anderson too, with his great wrestling. FIGHT JUST HAS GOT TO HAPPEN
