Fedor vs Werdum is only interesting to see if Fedor loses/wins. I like the Lesnar Carwin fight bc i think it actually decides the #1 heavyweight in the world. Both title fights tho... if u consider the WAMMA HW Champ a real title...

Yeah it's a real title because a real champion holds it you DOUCHE! Carwin vs Lesnar decides who the Biggest HW in the world is, not the best. Carwin by KO!

As a big MMA fan I want to know is Fedor the king of old or not.....

both guys have had fights and no injuries......

Brock and Carwin will be great fight but Brock is an inexperienced

Champ was close to death and has huge ring rust......and for a guy with

as little fights as he has .....fightn a fresh Carwin .....man was hard choice....................

this will consider the #2 ranked fighter in the world. Fedor should he beat Werdum will remain #1 regardless of the outcome of Carwin / Lesnar despite what you may wish. That will be 4 straight top ten opponents for Fedor. How many UFC HW's can claim that? Before you start raving about how good UFC is and how weak anybody else is. Don't believe the hype.

so then WAMMA must be having a promotion soon right? or it has a co-promotion soon then... hmmm okay then it at least all fighters all eligible to receive it? NOPE! @MMAeveryDay shut-up, sit down, and check out the WAMMA website:

The belt isn't exempt just because the promotion is done. You act like Fedor didn't earn or win it just because it no longer exists. I guess his Pride belt doesn't count either!? I doubt the belt would be mentioned if it didn't mean anything.

I'm not saying they are succeeding but you made it look like a scam to prop up Fedor. Tim Kennedy and Shinya Aoki are also WAMMA fighters.

Neither really, Lesner V Carwin is mildly interesting because I am pretty sure that Lesner is going to get KOd pretty badly and I can't stand him while the Fedor fight is mildly interesting because IF it goes to the ground it could be competitive and because it is always nice to watch Fedor. Neither has me all that excited though.

I am not easily excited. Seeing Carwin fight is interesting but I really don't think Lesner has much to offer him. Lesner skates by on size and decent wrestling. Carwin is big and a decent wrestler who also happens to be really good in the clinch and has decent boxing. To me it would be like getting excited over Anderson Silva V Chris Leban.

Both fights will be interesting, I will depend afterward though because Fedors fights are always dramatic and can be very artistic. Lesnar and Carwin are gonna be more like the bar brawlers, that too will be interesting , but I think that will be a very fast fight and overall not as entertaining because its gonna be over way too fast.

That's right, nowadays any clown can come in and claim the hw title and get hyped up to being the greatest ever after 4 pathetic wins. Not saying he never could be but maybe you should wait with the kudos until he has half the fights under his belt that Fedor has.

Gee, that's only 10 more to go then...should only take him 5 more years at current rate.

Fedor doesn't hold the title, Overeem does. And just what lists of top ten opponents can you provide for UFC Hw's last few fights that were of note?

Stop hating and believing Dana's BS to big up his own company and get real. Fedor fighting 4 top ten guys in a row, what UFC HW's done that? So please stfu with trash talk and accept facts. Fedor #1 for a reason, deal with it.

If Overeem beat Fedor how would he be number 1?

He lost miserably to Dos Santos and Fedor has only beaten the likes of Arlovski, Sylvia, and Rogers lately all guys who would not even be top5 in the UFC.

Overeem never fought JDS. He lost to Werdum who lost to JDS. That was a long time ago and Overeem is not the same fighter today. Arlovsky might not be top 5 in the UFC today but he would likely be in the top 10-15. If Roy Nelson Beats JDS I would put him higher considering he KOd Nelson not that long ago. Silvia certainly would be no where near top anything. As for Rogers, what do you base your opinion on? He hasn't fought there so there is really no way of knowing. For my money, I would say he would do well against the top UFC HWs because he made it into the 2nd against Fedor.

I voted for Brock VS Shane, my reasons are I think it's going to be the better more competitive fight.

I love to watch Fedor fight and am excited to watch him but I don't think Werdum will offer him much of a fight.

I agree, plus Overeem could be the last fight Fedor will have before he retires, plus Fedor is getting older and slower, he is past his prime significantly, but hes got it in him for the next 6months or so to still kick ass.

past his prime significantly? if 33 is significantly past your prime then Lesnar doesn't have long before he is out to the old folks home, being that he is 32 and has had way more beating on his body in wraslin.

Well, I am not commenting either way on what age is considered to be outside of prime years, because I feel it varies from one fighter to the next... But in terms of age, I would say Lesnar wears it a bit better... Could be Fedor's longevity in the sport, but since your opinion is that Lesnar's body has taken more of a beating in "wraslin," I dont think its a comparison that compliments your agenda.

Have the strength to accept things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Many parts of the world Fedor is looked at in aww...Brock might too when he shows at least a 25-1 record. This forum is filled with people from all over the world...maybe you should join the "UFC is God " forum and maybe youll be content with everyone agreeing with you.

Is that even a serious question?

    Lesnar v. Carwin or FE v. a UFC cast-off?

    ...be real.

Werdum has zero chance of beating FE...and if he does...FE is toast. There goes that P4P status and all the millions the UFC would have thrown at him to sign.

To answer the question - I'm more interested in the relevant Lesnar v. Carwin fight.

Carwin and Lesnar is a really interesting matchup they're two of the biggest fighters and top 5 heavyweights that could make a really good fight. Fedor is arguably the best but Werdum ruins the match. He's not top 5 he got his ass handed to him by Dos Santos I have no interest in him facing Fedor. This is a huge risk for M1 and Strikeforce if Fedor losses (which is highly unlikely) he loses all credibility as the #1 P4P fighter. Overeem is a much better fight for the company.

If anyone loses they go down in p4p rankings. No different for any other fighter. And most fighters lose sometimeno matter how good they are, Maybe Fedor's way overdue. But i hope he wins though as i can see the haters now, pathetically deceiving theirselves into justification for their ignorance and disrespect to one of mma's finest because he got beat, when win / lose he will go down in history as greatest HW ever until someone puts together a better record. Certainly won't be Brock.

I voted for Fedor / Werdum. Both have better resumes than either Brock or Carwin. Carwin only has beaten bums except for Mir, and Brock's isn't much better at 4 - 1. Don't believe the hype. Fedor is way better than either of these in terms of skill, but i will admit Carwin has impressed with all 1st round stoppages, I hope he carries on that habit.
