i cant bet against junior in the stand up. he is smart enough to keep roy at a distance. everybody says nelson is great on the ground, but dos santos trains outta black house, no way can he be bad on the ground

well nelson did beat Mir in a grappling match. And Mir is a bad SOB on the ground, so you can imagine how good Roy must be.

in saying that though dude i do agree, but that was a long long time ago. now i think in an mma fight, mir would kill him. in my opinion just lol

Nelson has grown on me alot since TUF and I really hope he goes far. I just dont see him taking out JDS. I guess anything could happen. I figured Kongo he could take, Mir was possible, but JDS I dunno about. Roy kept on calling out contenders tho, and it seemed that JDS was always one of the names out of his mouth, so he got what he asked for. Lets see if he can shock the world.

Nelson is good but JDS is way too good for him. I dont see Roy getting out of the 2nd. I think Dana wants both Cain and JDS to have a title shot thats why they dont fight. Cain gets winner of Lesnar/Carwin then JDS gets winner of that fight if he beats Roy.

Agree 100%. Nelson was knocked out by the pitbull - granted it was a while ago, but I think JDS>Pitbull and as much as I am a fan of Big Country, I predict JDS will show him a rude awakening to the elite of the HW division.

He's been getting away with it by winning, but this is likely the fight where Roy will just look like a fat slob.
