Brock Lesnar's coach, Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros, shared his preview ahead of his protégé’s December 30th encounter with "The Demolition Man" Alistair Overeem.

According to Medeiros, MMA fans around the world will see Brock Lesnar at his best shape ever. Medeiros also warned the K-1 2010 WGP Champion, Dream Heavyweight Champion and the former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem about not showing up at his 100%, once again promising that Lesnar is "super prepared" for the encounter:

GracieMag have the quote:

"Brock is in great shape. Undergoing surgery was the best decision he could have made. I believe we'll be seeing Brock at full potential for the first time," Comprido told reporter Nalty Junior.

"I'm truly excited about this fight. They're two giants, two monsters on a collision course-I don't think I've ever seen two guys as big and skillful as they are. If Alistair isn't 100%, he'd best not show up, because Brock is super well prepared; I guarantee it."

Brock Lesnar failed to impress in his most recent fight inside the Octagon, losing his title to Cain Velasquez in Round 1. Lesnar was then scheduled to face Junior dos Santos at UFC 131, but instead of traveling to Vancouver, Canada, for a fight with who is now the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion, Lesnar found himself in another battle with Diverticulitis.

With the illness behind him, Brock Lesnar is just 9 days away from what could well be a "do or die" fight for his career as a Mixed Martial Artist.

Overeem has horse power, Brock has prairie dogs power. Now guess who's going to win? lol

Reem will be able to stop Brock's takedowns round 1 and he'll need to KO him as fast as he can. Now if he gets tired later on like he did against Werdum, and Brock is really in shape, the Reem is going to have Brock's baby in round 5.

I did not see Brock going into round 5 to tell if he ever had a full tank. Maybe, Brock will gas out in round 3.

Everyone talks about Brock taking down Overeem, so what. He takes Overeem down than what? I doubt that Brock can keep Overeem down. No size advantage. Once he see that his wrestling is not working, Brock will panic.

Yes, that's true- off his back he's a sitting duck. Shogun (a 205er) exploited that fact when he put Reemer-roid to sleep on this back. Also, there's a big difference between a no-gi grappling champion and someone who spent his life perfecting the art of putting someone on their back and keeping him there. I predict Brock getting a few takedowns and us seeing a ground and pound festival.

It's very hard to understand the core strength that elite wrestlers possess if you haven't wrestled one. They can use that weight and power in a way that is utterly demoralizing- it's mind-blowing. Just because there is no size advantage on the scale does not mean that this size advantage won't come into play in this fight. It reminds me of When Frank Mir put on all kinds of weight via strength training to fight Shane Carwin and Carwin just held him against the cage and pounded him out.

Let's keep in mind prairie dog holes have broken many horse legs resulting in them being euthanized. No horse has ever killed a prairie dog. The danger is the unknown below the surface that you can't see.

Brock is quite an athlete and is learning faster than anyone right now. Tabula rasa as they say. There is nothing more shocking than running at a full gallop on a horse and stepping into a prairie dog hole.

Good point lol This fight is 50/50 for me, very hard to predict unless you're a fanboy and loves brock or reem. There r a lot of unknowns. Will the horse avoid the dog's holes or the dog avoid getting stepped on by the horse. hmm...

That only tells me you understimate The Reem's ELITE striking... and everyone's talking about the takedown and not worried about overeem catching brock in a sub?? The Reem is a beast on the ground too...

I'll have to wait until we see Reem get one win under his belt in the UFC before I go on about his ELITE striking.

K1 HW Champ !! that's the highest level of striking in the world.. no need to see him in the UFC to determine he's the BEST heavyweight striker in the world period.

K1 dosnt mean much in mma just like boxing. You dont have to worry about the takedown in those other sports, your stance completely changes in MMA, good example with the Reem, he was so worried about the takedown Werdum out struck him.

Exactly David, I think Reem is going to be too timid with his strikes because of Brock's take downs...I dont see Reem stopping Brocks takedowns the whole fight, he might stuff a few take downs but I think Brock will eventually get him down and GnP him and also, Reem does have great Bjj but the way Brock neutralized Mir Bjj in the 2nd fight, I dont see Reem cathcing Brock with a sub and Reem has had gas tank problems his whole career if Brock can make it a wrestling match Reem will gas like he always does, only way Reem wins imo is if he can connect in the first round or early second basically, so I got Lesnar via Tko 2/3 round

if brock was a little more sociable and trained at a different gym for even part of his camp he could be the champ again.. someone like greg jackson, marc fiore or at ATT i know these are all very unrealistic but it would bring out the best in him...

I think he will have early success against reem but it will be hard for him to hold him down for 5 rounds.

whoever wins Dos santos has a tough fight

brock will be the stronger person brock is a natural 265 pounder ,,who walks around at 275/280,,overeem on the other hand is a souped up lightheavy ,,and the fact that overeem never faced someone with the wrestling skills that brock has

and we all know that ubereems gas tank isnt as big as his arms are

so my prediction lesnar by tko 3th round

Can't wait, but I find it a little strange that the fight is promoted as for the first time two giants like that bla bla bla enter the octagon, when it comes to size, Carwin vs Brock was more pounds coliding than this one...

In shape or not, Brock's going to gas fast. He's going to exert a lot of energy trying to "muscle" Overeem, but will fail miserably. Ladies and gentlemen, you will witness, Brock being muscled like never before.

I think you are referring to Overeem not Brock gassing out fast! Overeem is the one muscled up and will get tired easily just like when he fought Werdum. He can't even talk when he was being interviewed. You think muscle is the symbol of strength. It is not the case. Brock is WAY stronger than Overeem because he is a natural heavyweight. Just wait and see once they lock horns. Think powerlifter vs a bodybuilder . . .

But it is not a powerlifting or bodybuilder's contest. One guy is going to punch and one will try to takedown. Overeem has very underrated BJJ and he has way more experience than Brock. Overeem can wrestle better than Brock can hit.

Everybody talks about Brock taking Overeem down. But still Brock needs to do something, but not just take down. Overeem will get up.

i see it going like this Reem will come out guns blazing ...then Lesnar will catch him with a cactus clothesline and follow with a flying forearm smash...Reem will try to counter but Lesnar pulls out a Leapfrog body guillotine followed by a double bitch slap.....mongolian chop ,body avalanche combination finishes it .....

its the same old choice ... in the face of adversity some stand and fight...some take flight....its something you are born with.

Ive noticed that when Brock gets hit and rocked then instinct takes over and he takes flight....but if you watch Alistairs fights he is also the same.

Maybe its a big guy thing as little guys might have had to fight in some-ways as they grow up and through their lives and so are used to adversity or maybe im talking rubbish....nothing new there eh!
