Clay Guida submits the broken-jaw Rafael Dos Anjos in the Third Round

Clay Guida managed to bounce back against the aggressive Rafael Dos Anjos, earning a second consecutive victory in the UFC. Dos Anjos dominated early on, but it was Guida who delivered the quality for quantity by submitting the Brazilian in the Third Round.

Rafael Dos Anjos has every reason to be upset with his defeat, as his broken jaw is what caused to an unusual tapout. Dos Anjos has a bright future ahead of him, and we’ll surely see more of him in the UFC.

A victory over Dos Anjos moves Clay Guida a little bit further in the UFC Lightweight division rankings, as the fan-favorite may now look for a top competition in his future match-ups.  Clay Guida improves his record to 27-11, successfully bouncing back from defeats against Diego Sanchez and Kenny Florian.
