    lol, I liked the caveman thing. I feel gomi is the better fighter but sometimes when you have an animal in front of you it gets mentally draining to keep up the good work when they never seem to give up. I have noticed that the mentality of fighters has often cost them a fight. I picked Caveman by decision.

    I'm with you on this one all the way. Gomi is CLEARLY the better fighter and yet, I think Guida is just going to out work him and run him into the ground.

    Or lay and pray haha. I can see Guida taking Gomi down a bunch and dishing out some light ground and pound but I hope Gomi lands the big one.

    I don't think it is fair to accuse Guida of lay and pray. I personally don't like his style either but he is always active on the ground.

    @ICP

    You're right. He does stay busy but I guess since he doesn't throw those fierce strikes from the top, I say he is laying and praying. I do enjoy his fights a lot more than other wrestlers and I do give him credit for being active.

    Cool. He did a lot of damage to Sanchez. Just out of curiousity, who did you think won that fight? I thought Guida just squeaked by but I can see an argument for the way the judges called it too.

    I'm not so sure. Gomi's conditioning is questionable, he folded against Nick Diaz and Clay's got an even higher pace. Will be interesting and if it goes more than a round, it's going to be fight of the night.

    You are dillusional, Guida is the Energizer bunny and Gomi's cardio is suspect at best. If Gomi doesn't catch him somehow in the first round it's all over for the Fireball Kid.

    no chance. Clay will come in as he always does, in great shape, going flat out and out work, out wrestle gomi and win a decision. I think the knock out of tyson by gomi makes people think this is the gomi of old but just look one fight back against florian. Will gomi come into the fight in good shape, doubt it, will he be able to handle clays pace, no chance and guida can take punishment as seen in the fight against sanchez. Clay to win 30-27 on all cards.

    Saying the words "lay and pray", and "Clay Guida" in the same sentence is ridiculous....

    If Clay doesn't get caught early like Tyson Griffin, I don't think Gomi can keep up with Clay's pace and cardio

    If Gomi doesn't catch him early Guida will wear him out on the ground. Guida is tough to K.O. also, look at the Sanchez fight, chin of steel.

    Gah!

    I love and hate this fight.

    I love it because it's two of my favorites in the lightweight division who are going to come out and put on a terrific show.

    I hate it because one of them has to lose.

    Either way, I can't wait for it. . . it's gonna be awesome!

    I think Clay has the best cardio in Lightweight division. The longer the fight goes the better Clay will get. First round will be the most dangerous for Clay, after that i think it's his fight to lose. I don't know if Gomi is "back" per say. Sure he knock out Tyson, but Clay also has the best chin i've seen in a long time. I think Cardio wins fights. I give this fight to Clay by decision or 3rd (T)KO.

    Im a huge Gomi fan since Pride and Guida is always exciting. Both have won Fight of the Year awards and I hope nobody gets late injuries. I think this match could of been the Co-Main Event but Leben vs Stann is still good
