Chris Lytle submits Matt Brown via Triangle Choke in the Second Round
Posted on July 3, 2010, 10:25 PM by Anton GurevichMixed Martial Arts veteran Chris Lytle won his third straight fight inside the Octagon, after defeating Matt "The Immortal" Brown via an amazing second round (Crucifix) Triangle Choke.
Both fighters showed an aggressive approach during the start of the fight, as it was Matt Brown who had the better minutes in the First Round. But despite Brown firing submission attempts and enjoying a tremendous reach advantage, Chris Lytle managed to weather the storm and win the fight.
Lytle got Matt Brown to the ground after the start of the second round, before executing a technical Triangle Choke from the top, which left "The Immortal" with no choice but to tap out.
Chris Lytle definitely gets himself into the Welterweight mix, with a potential war against Martin Kampmann. Great performance by the crafty veteran.

Wasn't it an Arm Bar?
Let's just call it brilliant.
Sub of the night
Definitely agree with sub of the night. I was so happy that Lytle got the win. He always puts on good fights.
In the begining of the fight I was like "wow... that must be the most un-coordinated striking I've seen for years, from both sides" but when the fight went on the mat... well I forgot what I was taking about.
Defenetely Brilliant!!!
