Chris “The Crippler” Leben managed to defeat Aaron Simpson for the first time in his career, in a classic brawling performance. Leben earned his 10th victory inside the Octagon, successfully bouncing back from a bad streak in the UFC.

Known for his exaptional wrestling and knockout power, Simpson failed to execute his gameplan, looking overtrained during the most parts of the fight. The A-Train looked like a shadow of the fighter that a won a Split Decision against Tom Lawlor, after a fantastic display of heart and determination. Simpson’s failure to work his advantages in this match-up allowed Leben to unleash his trademarked wild swings at Aaron Simpson.

The referee Josh Rosenthal had to stop this contest via TKO at 4:16 minutes of Round 2, after Chris Lebel landed a series of powerful shots on Aaron Simpson. Leben may face a tougher competition in his next fight inside the Octagon, as “The Crippler” has still plenty to prove to MMA fans around the World.

as Chris gets older he gets in more trouble he will slowly lose his

chin.......like chuck, you would thinkthat they would learn from Randy

once he got to the age his chin just wasnt as strong he went to boxing and learning to dodge more punches...and has did good I just hope

he will come out and do his job w/ Toney and not try and show how good his boxing has got...........lights out to Toney............

I was disappointed that Simpson lost.... He was a strong prospect coming in, but anyone who loses to Leben can hang it up.

Leben has heart and hes tough, but I think hes about reached the limits of what hes capable of. He is kind of a gatekeeper now days.

Simpson needs to work on boxing and cardio.

Would have liked to have seen the fight go on for a little bit longer......yeah I thought Simpson had taken some big hits and he was rocked, but thought it was stopped a touch early. Leban saying Simpsons head movement needed work was spot on!!

I'm really happy for CL; it was a good fight and he beat a tough opponent.

CL is a tough guy, solid fighter and has really grown over the last few years; in and out of the ring. He may never be a champ, but he's one great gatekeeper.

I think simpson has the tools to beat leben but didnt stick to the right fight plan, bad idea to stand in the pocket and bang with leben, not many people can do it and win.
