Better to be focused on your glass chin, right?

I'm picking Kongo, because as good as Mitrione's standup has looked, he simply hasn't had enough time to get his striking to Kongo's level, since Kongo has been kickboxing almost all his life. He definitely has an advantage in terms of experience and technique.

On the other hand, Kongo doesn't have the best chin ("glass chin" is a huge overstatement though) and Mitrione has shown that he can take a punch. So Mitrione has a better chance for a one punch KO. It could go either way, but I'm leaning towards Kongo.

Thats such a rookie mistake man you never, ever say you not worried about your current opponet that should be your sole focus....all the greats and vets of the sport never talk about looking ahead they always say I'm focused on this guy get him out of my way then I'll look on but right now this is my priority. Hey remember man you almost got KO'd by Pat Berry 2x!!! Funny it reminds me of Schaub vs Nogeira at UFC 134...Brenden was looking for a title shot and had no concern for his current opponet and we all know how that ended...Now where Schaub now? not even a top contender

This is an interesting match up i think, Mitrione has proven his punching power we know, what we don't yet really know is how well he takes a good shot and when he does get caught how well he recovers, if he recovers at all. He hasn't really fought a dangerous top level striker yet, Kongo will be the best he's faced yet. As for Kongo, he also has KO power but he leaves himself wide open way too much when exchanging, his defence is terrible. The thing in his favour though is that he recovers quickly when he gets caught with a good shot. I think this one will come down to who connects first...lol. Imo i think it may just well be Mitrione, but i wouldn't bet my house on it though.......

I haven't been impressed by the showings of Kongo, he reminds me of the boxer, Frank Bruno. Big guy, powerful, but little in the way of fluidity and fighting intelligence.

    Is Kongo just hype??
