Chael Sonnen withdraws "Loser Leaves Town" challenge, says Anderson Silva declined

However, as impressive as his performance was, it was during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan that Sonnen truly made his presence felt, issuing a "loser leaves town" challenge to the division Champion, Anderson Silva, who sat cageside looking on. Though the highly anticipated rematch has yet to be confirmed, UFC President Dana White has expressed a desire to book the match-up "asap."
While making an appearance on The Jim Rome Show, Sonnen discussed the motivation behind his challenge, as well as Silva's failure to respond. Sonnen says that though his original offer has now expired, he'll continue to come up with new ones until the "alleged Champion" meets him inside of the octagon. Photo: Francis Specker

im not talking about a war of words im talking about a fight to see who is the best..cheal was roided up the last fight yes but hes clean now it would be a hell of a rematch.
Anderson Silva is acting professionally, he has class, unlike the retard Chael Sonnen, it's not up to him, it's up to Dana White to make the fights happen, and I'm sure Anderson is willing to take that fight not even for the money, which he doesn't really need, but for his pride, after all the shit Sonnen talked about Brazil and even crossing the line talking about Silva's wife.

Look up the official hearing, the state couldn't give him any information on what was wrong, at first they said he had elevated levels, later they down sized it.
That's why his penalty was shortend, and they still couldn't give information about what it was.

But anyway, Sonnen is the most deserving of the title shot. Nobody else deserves any title shot. And it doesnt matter if Silva was hurt, we saw the fight and Sonnen outclassed him but wound up tapping to a triangle.
You really believe Silva was injured? Let him prove it in the rematch.
If you dont want this fight to happen then you just are afraid of the results...

I like Chael Sonnen! Here is why...he gets people like you stirred up over every word that falls from his mouth. The man is a promotional genius that gets everyone wanting to see what he is going to do next. On top of that he is an excellent fighter who is clearly the #1 contender and a real threat to AS. In my opinion, I think AS is a bit nervous for this fight and probably isn’t thrilled to be taking on someone who fed him fists for 4 1/2 rounds. Losing to Chael would definitely hurt not only his pride but put a blemish on his legacy. At the end of the day though, I like to read what people like you have to say about Chaels promotional antics and laugh about how emotional they are.

Sonnen knows anderson isn't the one who makes fights. So he's trying to make it seem like anderson is ducking him ...not true dana and joe silvas choice, no one else no fighters have the right to make up a contract. They can offer an opinion but doesn't mean it has to go through.

If your still in disbelief look at the first fight again, a.s got beat up for 23 min, that's a good reason and test to know what's gonna happen in the next fight, the same thing without a triangle.
Silva does not need to prove anything, he made Sonnen tap. Sonnen fell asleep. Move on, next one.

At the end of the day there is virtually nobody in MW that can stop Anderson, except for Sonnen and possibly Vitor. Vitor didnt have a great fight with Silva so that leaves Sonnen.
Sonnen is the rightful No.1 Contender, hes the #2 MW in the world.

If you really take what Chael says seriously, you've got problems. The dude is the classic WWF (Yes I mean WWF) bad guy and he plays the part to the T. You cannot deny he has talent and for being the only person to do to Silva what he did, I think he is deserving of another shot.

The division is running very thin on true competition for for Silva and before he jumps ship and makes his way either down to GSP or up to Bone Jones, why not give the fans what they want and fight Sonnen? If I honestly examine the truth within myself, I recognize that I have pride and diginity and truthfullness--but if I knew that all I had to do to earn millions of dollars was to shoot my mouth off and play a part for a while--I can't see how I could refuse to do it.

Ok did anyone actually listen to that whole interview? I have to admit I used to watch WCW and WWF til I was around 10 or 11 and yes he really sounds like those guys. He is so extreme that it doesn't even sound real. It's hard for me to even tell if it's real and he believes this stuff or he is just being an entertainer. Dana White pratically already said this fight is gonna happen, so now it's just a matter of time... let's hope this time Anderson is 100%, and Sonnen doesn't cheat... then there will be no excuses.
