Chael Sonnen sparks Twitter War with Wanderlei Silva

After losing out to Vitor Belfort on his chance of an immediate rematch for the UFC middleweight title against Anderson Silva, for the suspension issued by the CSAC. Chael Sonnen has now sparked a twitter ” beef ” with Pride FC legend Wanderlei ” The Axe Murderer ” Silva. The pair had previously been filmed in a van where Wanderlei addressed Sonnen on some of the claims he had made about Brazil in the build up to his title fight with Champion Anderson Silva.

 

 

From this, rumours have already started to circulate that Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva will be the opposing coaches on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, which will be TUF’s 13th season. And I also came to the conclusion that since Chael will be suspended until around early March, and with Wanderlei injured until that time also, they could start filming right away, as the cast members for season 13 have already been chosen. However, nothing is official yet and we will have to wait and see. 

Also if this where to materialise it would set up a grudge match between Sonnen and Wanderlei, with the victor possibly advancing to a title shot. and from this bout two very interesting rematches could be set up with: Chael Sonnen vs Anderson Silva II & Wanderlei Silva vs Vitor Belfort II.
