Chael Sonnen says he's still unsure about the possibility of a rematch with Anderson Silva
Posted on January 29, 2012, 06:20 AM by Anton GurevichChael Sonnen re-claimed his spot as the #1 contender in the UFC Middleweight division, after beating Michael Bisping via Unanimous Decisiona at UFC on FOX 2. Sonnen earned his right for a rematch with Anderson Silva, which will take place this summer in Brazil. According to Sonnen, there's still a good chance Anderson Silva will find his way out of the fight with "the undefeated and undisputed People's Champion". One way or another, Chael Sonnen declared he will be fighting for the UFC Middleweight title, whether it's against Anderson Silva or not.

Looks embarrassed like he's going to cry. People say bisping is a soft puncher?
Almost feel bad for him going against silva, but he needs to be exposed and some kids need to be educated on the FACT that certain substances are cheating.
I just hope that Chael had learned new lessons in humility and would cease making statements about being the "toughest man" out there, the "undisputed and undefeated [people's] champ..." He looked awkward and flustered last night and could very well have lost the fight...Bisping has definitely revealed major holes in his game--which will be exploited by the very smart and talented Spider Silva...
Holes?
Bisping's style may have just been really good match for Sonnen.
Bisping did well in holding Sonnen against the cage and had better TDD than expected. People including myself underestimated Bisping.
Styles make fights, and Silva is a completely different fighter than Bisping.
Sonnen exposed holes in the very smart and talented Spider Silva, and the very smart and talented Chael Sonnen will exploit those same holes.
Yea, thanx to chael sonnen we now know that anderson silva is extremely vulnerable to fighting people who's testosterone is 4 times higher than normal, while having a rib injury, and wanting to go to your back to get the jujitsu sub.
Oh, but he's not so vulnerable that he'll actually lose, or even LOOK like he's injured after over 200 punches. Thanx chael.
Dude he was on roids-Sonnen was a different fighter minus the juice

He is still on TRT so what are u getting at?
Last night brought about more questions than answers for me. Bisping looked great
I a Sonnen fan and a Bisping hater and I must agree with you n2ydiu2+2. Bisping did impress and could have won that fight. I have to admit it. If Sonnen were to get injured Bisping should step in.
Yes Chael cheated. That doesn't make him a bad person. Chael's a good dude. And he's gonna beat Anderson. MARK THE TAPE!!
Yea Chaels a great guy. Cheating in a fight... convicted of fraud... He's a real role model.
How is he a good dude? He cheats, gets caught and fais everywhere: mma, politics, selling houses and tax evasion. Next, his his partner comes out and says chael was cheating on him/her with somebody else too...
The tape around Sonnens body after the slaughter in Brazil?
For goodness sake, get over it and move on buddy. You're fixated. Get help
Nick...what are you doing talking about the topic?!?! Omg have you learned nothing?!
Where would the world be without liars and cheats?!?!
If were goin off chaels logic that people who lose close fights are the actual winners, and he's the 'champ' off such a win(loss), does that mean bispings the new champion? Lol
He should be unsure. A rematch implies that similar things should be expected and if last nights Chael shows up it won't even be a fight. Anderson will destroy him.
It was a close fight, watched it again , i still had Bisping 2-1

Chael seems a little humbled by Bisping, A LITTLE... nice to hear he was even second guessing himself. that said either one of them could of won, Bisping proved that he is top 10, could even be 5... good fight for Bisping even in defeat.
You, sir, are growing up right in front of my eyes, HB. So, I was right last night right before the fight, wasn't I? In order words, you and Chael know who truly won that fight, congrats.
Agreed. Bisping has come a long way.
Don't be scared hommie
Even if Chael manages to get the belt, there will still be a line behind him saying "hes a cheat, he used roids(TRT) hes a loser" blah blah
Just like the other side who says Anderson is an arrogant prick who hates anyone other than Brazilians.
Even if he managed to get the belt, he'd still be charged with breaking an entering and there would be a line behind him in the shower.
Looking at all the replies here....I suppose you all should give Wanderlei more credit as well. Chael is the only title contender simply because of his wrestling. Its Anderson's weak spot.
Bisping looked ok because he has better TDD than Anderson obviously.
People put Chael(himself included) way higher than anyone should have IMO. In the rematch honestly all it will take is a few pinpoint shots from Anderson, and he'll walk away with another win.
yeah...there's no way to score this 30-27 for chael.
Classic Sonnen http://youtu.be/UOWLe8VYMkA
I can't believe that Chael admitted that Bisbing rocked him in the first round. I guess he did gain a bit of humility with that win. That was one of the most candid interviews I have seen him give. It was almost normal.
see what I mean? look at Chael's face and look at Bisping's face!!!
good luck making past airport security, remember you are from the"mean streets of west lynn, oregon!
Very Impressive Bisping.
