UFC Middleweight Champion Chael Sonnen shared his thoughts about what Yushin Okami has to do in order to become the new (real) UFC Middleweight Champion. According to Sonnen, Okami has to control the pace against Anderson Silva, who will give his best to maintain striking distance against the Japanese challenger.

Sonnen will return to action to action at UFC 136 (October 8th) against his hero, "The Leader of Men" Brian Stann.

If there is one thing Sonnen is not, it's boring. A loud mouth? of course. Full of shit? Most definitely. Whacked out of his mind? I'm inclined to believed he doesn't have one to get whacked out.

But he's damn sure one thing above all of that, and that's entertaining is hell.

It's really nice to Chael *seriously* talk about a Silva fight. He recognizes his strengths and legitimately breaks down the chance that Okami has at beating Silva and what method he must use to do so. His relationship with Yushin probably dictated his prediction of the outcome, but his breakdown of the fighters is spot on. I like the comedic Chael, but he is a smart fighter and it's nice to hear his *serious* take on this fight.

Every now and then Chael turns off the hype machine. While I enjoy his ridiculous rants, it is refreshing to hear him play the rational analyst.

Even though his prediction was so bold and biased towards his friend, I thought the things he said regarding Silva was almost spot on.

By the way, Okami will lose this fight no matter what he does.

I love the sport and I agree that fighters need to be more media friendly to expand it. But, I'm tired of hearing about Chael Sonnen. This fake ass American Gangster, lol, who was problably raised by a silver spoon and had everything handed to him. Can't wait until AS beats him up once and for all then Hendo would drop and whoop his ass too just so he can get the fight he wants with Silva.
