Chael Sonnen issues an official apology to Anderson "The Spider" Silva

Even I, one of Chael's biggest fans, am growing weary of his antics. You got the fight Chael - get serious now and just train.

I agree the WWE thing is getting real old. REAL old.



I am a fan of Sonnen's too, but only because he is a good fighter. I can't stand the theatrics. He stopped being funny about 6 months ago.



He impressed me a lot in the first Silva fight, but I feel he is digging a deep hole and the only way he will be able to get out is if he beats Silva this time around.

OK, well UFC Tonight's stock just went down in my book. How anyone can think this is good for the sport is beyond me. What a tool.

I 'm no Chael fan but I prefer these kind of antics over the silly brazil n Nog comments every day of the week. I don't even bother to listen to interview anymore because all fighters seem to say the same old recycled sh**. A lot of people compare his antics to the WWE style skits and promos but if you ask me his are way better than most of the bull I've seen in pro wrestling. I haven't actually watched the wwe or tna for years so if things have improved i take that back but I seriously doubt they have.

It was funny at the begining, but now is annoying, and I am a little and I mean really a little, concerned that if Sonnen manages to win the title all the internet is gonna be full of his shit...wait a moment, he already won the title...I am a little confused, but just a little.

I'm glad that everyone feels the same way I do about Chael now! He has had a few funny quotes but I just found him to be straight up looney!

And the UFC is seriouslly putting this shit out there. D White is contributing to making his greatest champ of all time a knock knock joke!! Unbelievable that this is what we get to see on FUEL as well. I mean WOW....And Uriah Faber and others are now trying to follow in this fools footsteps. And it might be working. Pffff

Well Dana's champ wont be a knock knock joke if he fights and wins. Silva gets his redemption in the cage.



But if Silva loses, then it will suck for Silva fans, and great for us Sonnen fans.



Then they will rematch right away for sure (if Silva wants to)



Hopefully Sonnen can go against all odds and come away with the title

The UFC needs to apologize to their fans for FuelTV and Sonnen

His 15 minutes of fame is almost up.

I am really concerned that the future of a well-rounded MMA fighter is going to be the three points of a triangle : some flavor of stand-up, some flavor of ground game, and trash talking.



Pretty soon there are going to be coaches that help fighters get more attention by their crazy behavior.

Somewhere out there, a dead horse is slowly ceasing to exist as Chael beats it up a bit more every day.

I'll give Chael his due here and say that he holds the blueprint to defeating Silva. Blitz from the beginning, lots of grappling, never give him room to dictate the pace or find his range. The only question is whether or not Chael is good enough to implement that blueprint against a healthy Silva. Considering he got submitted by an injured one, I'd say it depends on which has improved more: Anderson's wrestling or Chael's submission defense.



There's a wild card though too, Sonnen's cardio. He's never had problems with it before, but he was starting to gas during the third round with Bisping. Was it because he only trained for a three round fight, because he had a bad weight cut, or will the championship rounds make him vulnerable in the rematch?

No matter how many of you think that his ways are not as funny anymore. All of you still went to this page because you are curious, meaning it still works.

I love it! Can't wait for the next one. I am really suprised how many good sports there are in MMA (fighting) complaining about Chael. Chael is pummeling Sylva with a verbal and mental lashing; has won the mental battle with Sylva and now he will tarnish is "Mayweather" like legacy. If Sylva can't take it tough he should have fought him sooner. Muhammad Ali was the king of this type of antogonistic behavior and mentally beat his oppenents before they stepped into the ring. Go Chael give 'em a good ole "Freedome of Speech" ass whoopin!

Chael doesn't always hit the mark but when he does, he's still a funny guy.



And while there's no question that Silva will be the favorite, I don't think all the Anderson 'huggers' out there should get too over-confident...

I just know Im putting 100 on Sonnen if the odds are as whacked as I think they'll be.
