Sonnen insists that he doesn't wish Silva "any ill will," but opined that MMA is not a line of work that "The Axe Murderer" should be doing. The Team Quest fighter also discusses his extended layoff and says he would like to get back into the octagon right away.

I normally dont mind Chael's mouth but his material seemed forced tonight, as well as a little bit drunk. Really Chael you go to a dec almost every fight, and you think you would of beat Wanderlei in under 30 seconds.
Dont take Sonnen seriously when he says he will finish faster.... lol. Its just one of Chael's macho zingers. And I dont think he should fight Wandy, because Wandy is far too down the ladder at this point.....one of the dumbest gameplans in the history of mma btw....

Wanderlei accomplished and contributed to the growth of MMA more than Chael would ever achieve in a lifetime. In his PRIDE days, Wandy was One of the best MMA fighters (ALONGSIDE Fedor)...How come a cheating Chael dare say that this icon doesn't belong...Let's see what Chael will do in the remaining 2 or 3 years left in his career--assuming he won't cheat or get himself in trouble again...............
I have not been a Chael Sonnen fan, but I thought he handled the Wanderlei question very respectfully and fairly. Hopefully Wanderlei retiring will save him from even worse brain damage than he currently has.
