Chael Sonnen: I still don't have the contract to fight Anderson Silva

However, Sonnen admitted that "something is going on", claiming that the Countdown crew will start filming his training camp this week.

UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen is planning on fighting Anderson Silva, but he hasn't signed a contract yet. "I believe I have the fight. I believe it'll happen in June. But I still don't have a contract. But the 'Countdown' show is scheduled to come out to my home in two days, so I guess something is going to happen," Chael commented on "UFC Tonight".
Anderson Silva stated on numerous occasions that he believes Chael Sonnen doesn't deserve a rematch, so it looks like "The Spider" is using the hold-up as a psychological warfare.
Silva vs. Sonnen II is expected to headine UFC 147 in Sao Paolo, Brazil, on June 16th. Another long-anticipated rematch, Vitor Belfort vs. Wanderlei Silva, will co-headline the card, which will also include TUF: Brazil finals (according to MMAJunkie.com), and the Heavyweight scrap between Fabricio Werdum and Mike Russow.

fighting Spider in front of his home crowd IN BRAZIL is a very tough situation indeed..

The Spider has no wrestling skill. Chael is the man. This will not be the cake-walk everyone is predicting.

countdown show in his hometown in 2 days ??? thought they did that like a week before the fight. and yea, he should bring a vest, the fans will let silva beat him down, but whether he does or not, after giving anderson the honor of the fight, chael will be mauled after.

I thought Sonnen doesn't have training camps? He's said it at least ten times in interviews, "camps are for kids, I train every day".
His different personalities aren't aware of what the others say.

Well....if he does take it, TRT stands for Tapping in Round Three...so either way , its a lose, lose for him. Personally I would like to see Silva knee the life out of him thru his solar plexus, then break his nose like he did Franklin ( although Rich was cool and that sucked to see ) then KO with a roundhouse to the jaw of a doubled over / wincing in pain C.S.

I would leterally fall out of my chair laughing if he does beat Silva and just piture everyone typing....I know its a long shot but never say never.
Admittidly, I am a fan of Silva, and disrespect Chael because of his actions and attitude, but I do not have a doubt he has a chance, more than any before....BUT...the questions do come in play.. how much did the TRT and / or Silva's supposed bruised ribs play...did Silva really promise a sub to Nog bros, and try that, etc, etc...and , I am sure Silva is smart enough to train better on TDD. Other fights I have seen him throw other guys aside when they attempt a take down. But Chael is more of a machine in that aspect than the others. Anderson is the better striker. Bottom line, we all would rather see another awesome devastating KO/TKO/SUB than a hump fest where no damage is done , and we all know who is capable of the above mentioned. Chael, even if he wins, it will be a lame decision, he will walk away with the belt, a broken nose, cut and bruised face, Silva will have not a scratch on him, and lose only because someone kept him from standing up. Yay (yawn).

This is the WORST place for Sonnen to fight its a death trap. If he beats Silva he won't make it out of Brazil if he losses to Silva he won't make it out of Brazil. So to recap in case it was too long Sonnen dead win or lose.
Oh and Silva via KO round 3 with 2:18 on the clock with a right hook then a left upper cut.

All you Silva fans who think the Spider will KO Chael make me laugh. All of Sonnen's loses have been either by decision or submission, in 39 fight, the only TKO's on his record are doctor stoppages.
Silva is the favorite, no question, but if you think he's just going to walk through Chael, pass me some of what you're smoking.
Sonnen lost to ****ing bisping and doesnt even deserve the title shot clearly. That being said, if sonnen comes in and gasses out that quick against Silva you bet your ass he will be knocked out. This is a 5 round fight with the best fighter on earth. sonnen better be prepared for 5 rounds if he expects to win. He could barely go 3 rounds with bisping...
