"I feel great. I was a little bit disappointed with the mix up and not getting the title fight for my next one, but it is what it is and I'm looking forward to the next fight. The thing about it is, the decision was made before I was even contacted. So, the decision wasn't mine. Things happen and it's a bump in the road, but I'm excited for my next fight and it doesn't knock me too far down the ladder. I was just ready to fight, I was really excited to fight Georges St. Pierre in October and I was disappointed that he hurt his knee. It's just delaying the inevitable, I'm going to get the title shot and I think that I'm definitely a tough opponent for Georges, or whoever has the belt. So, I'm just going to keep training, keep my focus, and keep looking forward to the future."

Watch GSP & Diaz fight to a draw & then a rematch is called for. Poor Condit.
According to fightmetric, your takedown defense is only 45%..........................
That sucks. If you ask me(and since you can't someone in your camp should DEFINITELY tell you this) you need to work on your TDD as much as possible starting like 3 months ago.
Take this delay as a blessing from God. Last thing you want is to make it to the title and then get hugged out for 5 rounds only to go to the back of the line again.
Both Condit and DIaz have poor takedown defenses but both are amazing of there backs with sub attempts and sweep....just watch the Kim fight against Condit, the sweep Condit hit against him was sick
Diaz takedown defense is 64%......you don't know what you're talking about. And if you think that condit shouldn't worry about GSP hugging him because he has gotten some subs in the past, you probably don't know who GSP is.
I'll admit that I dont no all the exact stats like apparently you do but ya GSP out wrestling both Condit and Diaz is the most likely outcome but it wont be that easy to just keep these two guys down....both are always working for subs and sweep of there back so ya, Condit and Diaz wont be in a terrible situation if they are on the bottom like Hardy was
I agree wit da ninja. Both Diaz and Condit are comfortable on the mat and they both stay busy when the go on bottom. I think that GSP is aware of this too though, so he's making adjustments and getting his game dialed in just like Diaz and Condit are doing. Who can dictate the their gameplan best? We all find out at about the same as the fighters- on fight night.
he didnt wanna say it:
i got fuc*** in the a** by dana...
Condit,
It sucks, but the fans have to dictate the fights in this market and doen economy. UFC wants to be different from boxing and make the fights fans want to see. I appreciate your attitude and you should ask for additional compensation for taking a back seat. You will get a shot at the title and I hope you make the best of it. You have always been a favorite of mine but I have to be honest. Root for Diaz because given the skillset, You have a beter shot against him than GSP.
You will make a great champ soon I hope. Best of luck
Condit one of my favorite fighter and his style would be great if Condit vs Diaz toe to toe standing and trade with each other.imo
I think Carlos is an awesome fighter but he will be easy for GPS to take down. A lot of the tall 170 pounds don't do well against wrestlers because it's easy to get a hold of those long legs and rip them down to the mat. I prefer to spar in mma against taller guys because they are really easy to take down.
I agree. Both Condit and Diaz get taken down fairly easily. But both seem comfortable on their backs. I want to see Condit and Diaz fight as well, because they bring it every time out. Caution to the wind. Condit has an iron chin as well; when he fought Jake Ellenburger, I thought Condit was out ay least 3 times in that first round! So as far as an exciting fight that has two guys who don't know how to quit, Diaz vs Condit.
