The fight headlined UFC's debut on FOX, held at the sold-out Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Dos Santos improved his Mixed Martial Arts record to 14-1, and will now face the winner of UFC 141 encounter between Brock Lesnar and "The Reem" Alistair Overeem. UFC on FOX delivered solid rankings with 5.75million viewers, and over 60million viewers in dos Santos' home contry, Brazil.

You can hear Dos Santos baseball uppercuts and hooks splitting the air, but not in time to move :/
That fight sucked. Yes I was going for Cain. I felt JDS would win but not so quickly.
That win shocked everyone for sure. I honestly thought it would make it in to R2 or R3. I knew Velasquez had to take it to the mat & the longer it stayed standing then the more favorable it would be for Dos Santos. But 1 minute in!!!! Unreal result.
The Lesnar v Overeem fight is exactly the same matchup again if you think about it. Lesnar will want to take it to the mat & Overeem will want to stay standing. Lesnar doesn't like being hit in the face so a similar result to this isn't unthinkable!
Dos Santos v Overeem is a great match up to be fair. Both love to trade, have heavy hands, both are very fast. I'd give Dos Santos the edge in speed & to be fair his last 8 opponents have been much better quality than Overeems last 8 with the exception of Werdum.
I'm hoping for Dos Santos v Overeem for the next title fight.

But I feel obligated to point out that 'they' said that about Machida, Shogun, Brock Lesnar etc.

Nah, can was out for a good 2-3 punches before snapping back to reality.
Dos Santos was starting to get harder and clearer shots on his head, and Cain was turning, meaning the same strength and repetition would be applied to hook shots coming from the side, I can't say it was premature, he did flash out and probably didn't know where he was, soon as the arms go limp its suppose to stop :/
Watch Cain's face as he gets up. His eyes are glazed over. First he puts his right hand on McCarthy's side and then on his left shoulder and pats it and appears to be saying "It's okay" to what I imagine was John's "Sorry, I had to stop it". You can see Cain knew it was a good stoppage. It pains me to say it but a Brazilian striker knocked out an American wrestler. JDS is what you guys call a beast.

Jon Jones doesn't wanna move up and go against hands like this... I wouldn't want to either, right now Jon has reach and strength over most the division but has to fight to keep weight off... keep it up lol
Cigano hit Cain with a nuke followed by a few sledgehammer shots. Real awesome finish.

I've got to say I did not expect that. I thought Cain would be smart enough to GSP Dos Santos but I guess not. I think we will see a rematch within 2 years though and Cain will grind out a decision.
I saw the whole 64 seconds it took him to put him down. Wish I could have seen the Guida/Bendo fight too. I'll find the video.

Cain's real young in this sport man. The dude is going to come back harder and stronger than ever. Takes a loss to smarten you up. A good matchup for Cain's return hopefully by Spring is Mir.
