Cain Velasquez on UFC 146: I took a step in the right direction
Posted on May 28, 2012, 05:45 PM by Mike DrahotaCain Velasquez is interviewed right after UFC 146 courtesy of MMAFighting.com, stressing that he has taken a step towards his goal of regaining the UFC Heavyweight championship. Velasquez described the elbow that gained him a decisive, bloody victory over Antonio Silva at UFC 146. He felt he had prepared better for his first-round drubbing of Silva than his KO loss to Junior dos Santos last November. The previous man to beat "Bigfoot," Daniel Cormier, was in Velasquez's corner to help with the in-fight strategy. An honest view at a former champion determined to rise back to the top.

and about 50 solid strikes in the right direction as well.
He's always so calm. Scary dude....
That looked like the Cain that took apart Lesnar. He is a scary dude.
The JDS rematch will be epic.
Cain deserves the next title shot for sure. The chances of JDS landing a perfect punch on the ear of Cain again aren't that good. If his equilibrium wasnt affected Cain would of been able to continue. Look for Cain vs JDS 2 to be a much more even fight.
His aura kinda reminds me of fedor when he was unbeatable, compared to other heavyweights he isn't physically imposing (brock carwin reem big foot) but just this calm nature, he is even calm when he is agressive....its a weird one but it scares the crap out of me, they always say the quiet ones are the worst, after what he did to bigfoot, i agree.
psycho!
The next Heavyweight card:
Dos Santos vs. Cain
Cormier vs. Alistar
Brock vs. Nelson
Struve vs. Mir
Bigfoot vs. Shane Del Rasario
I'd go with Struve vs Nelson since both are coming off wins and do Brock vs Mir 3.
Im really not a Cain fan at all, but wow. What a statement. He has a real shot at dethroning Cigano in a rematch
Cain bounced back the way champions do.
One of my top three favorite fighters in the UFC.
Rematch all the way.
