In what was something of a surprise last night, former UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was on hand at UFC 146, sitting ringside This may have hinted at a possible return for the well-known former titleholder who recently returned to the WWE Seen most recently being knocked out in the first round by Alistair Overeem last December, he retired after and was seemingly finished with his short, mercurial MMA career.
However, this may not be the case, as Dana White hinted at courtesy of a report via MMAJunkiecom:
"He was here. I think that says it all. He texted me and said, 'I want to come to the fight, but keep it quiet because I don't want to tell anybody. I want to talk face to face. You never know with him. He might want to come back. He might just want to hang out."
While this is hardly a confirmation of Lesnar's return, it does definitely leave the door much more open than it was before UFC 146. With the amount of skill displayed by the many Heavyweights on last night's historic card, Lesnar would have to show up in excellent condition to compete at the highest level. Overeem handily defeated Lesnar at UFC 141, leaving many questions about Lesnar's ability to withstand the brutal strikes dealt out by UFC Heavyweights.
Will Brock Lesnar make his way back to the UFC Octagon? If he does, will he find that the Heavyweights currently on the roster have surpassed him? In any case, Lesnar will always be a huge draw for the UFC with his outspoken personality. Stay tuned to Lowkick.com for an further developments on Lesnar's possible return.

Maybe he thought Mir would beat JDS and then he could have asked for the Title Shot against Mir !

I think its pretty obv, "He wanted to talk to me face to face" When his WWE contract is up, he will come back, Dana might even buy out his contract

If Mir won and he was denied the title shot, he probably would have grabbed the steel chair and ko'd Mir and Herb Dean.

He can beat HW grapplers, his stand up is biggest weakness. Lesnar can beat a ton of fighters in the HW division still. If he worked on striking as much as he does on grappling he could be top 5 again.

But who knows, maybe his stand up just cant get any better..

I wonder who Brock was rooting for during the main event fight.

If they bring him back, send him to the back of the line. No title shots. No #1 contender fights. If he wants it bad enough, he'll work his way up through the ranks. The HW division is a lot deeper now then it was when he first came to the UFC. If he can make his way up the ladder like any other fighter, he'll gain more experience in the process and stand a better chance if and when he earns a title show . 2ยข

Honestly, I think the fight that would be in the works if they resigned Brock would be a completion of the Lesnar-Mir trilogy. Tickets and PPV for that grudge match would sell like hotcakes, and I think both fighters would be very emotionally invested into it as well.

this is funny brock lesnars the biggest joke of a mma fighter ever he exemplifies nothing that a mixed martial artist represents, he runs when he gets hit and quits when he gets beaten if he comes back it would clearly be simply for ratings and he would just get further exposed, like come on really? your gonna let this goof fight again

if he comes back the ufc marketing team is gonna make a big deal about overeems suspension and claim that the fight was illegitimate, then they're gonna give him another #1 contender fight as the main event of a card with no titles on the line (he wont agree to be the co-main event of a better card, too much ego..), but then hopefully he'll lose that again which leaves him the choice of actually working his way back up or re-retiring

Brock has the physical tools to do serious damage but the game has changed.

Can't see him doing anything serious if he comes back.

What chance would he really stand against a Cain, JDS, Overeem, or even Bigfoot?...

...Unless he doesn't mind getting punched in the face now and has learned to throw a proper punch. In which case he would actually be pretty scary. The chances of that are pretty slim I'd imagine since Bas reported no one is allowed to hit his face in camp.

Im with IchokePeople here, he has an interest in the sport, I seen david Spade at ring side....does this mean he is gonna fight? I would pay to see him get KTFO and when i say pay, i mean I would sell my house to make sure it happens

Brock could have steamrolled any HW but he quit doing that after his 3rd fight. Gameplan is what he needed. 280 lbs of wrestler driving at you in the center of the cage could take anyone down. Why he quit doing that was beyond me.

Your are right to a degree, he could and would take anybody in the world down with that tactic, but its keepin em down, when he fought cain, he took him down, breifly, cain got right back up, same with carwin, and if he did that at the start of every round in every fight, it would just take a well timed kick Knee to really turn his lights out, running into a knee off a top 5 heavyweight and he would probably never stand back up

Well I don't like Brock, but I have to say I don't count his last loss to The Reem as a loss because he tested for steroids. He really needs to make up his ****ing mind on either being in the UFC or the circus.

Brock has never really been hit before like he expereinced by Velasquez and Reem....

I dont feel he can take a punch on his face. Aslo, due to his stomach illness it appeared he buckled real quick from a few kicks from the Reem. It doesnt seem right and I think he has some long term complications in his abdominal area from his illness.

    HE CANT FIGHT.....

Yeah those Overeem knees and kicks did not go well to Lesnars insides.....I think he is definitely handicapped for life from those surgeries to his mid section...
