JDS gonna whoop dat ass!
It just blows my mind how after the Carwin and Velasquez fight everybody is already counting out Brock Lesnar. Is everybody forgetting this cat was in his death bed a year prior to that? I bet you he will be victorious vs Dos Santos. If Big Country can survive a Dos Santos knockout, I am damn sure Brock can and win! Bottom line.
I'm not counting him out, I just think JDS is gonna catch him and he's gonna get that urge to run away again and not be able to follow his game plan.
Having said that,I'm sure Brock will have improved in some areas.
i think the reason why so many are counting brick out is that jds main strength is brocks biggest weakness. i actually think brock has a good chance of winning this fight it all depends on who can play to their prospective strengths brock grappling jds standup. jds may very well knock brock out in the first two minutes and i would give him the edge in this fight but not counting brock out either.
it seems that many people are buying into the hype about jds i have heard people use terms like legendary takedown defense expert bjj and so on. while this may be true there is absoutly no evidence to support this. jds will have a hard time finding sparring partners in black house or even brazil that could simulate brock in a fight. while brock will have little trouble finding strikers that are as good if not better strikers than jds not mma fighters but boxers and kickboxers which shouldnt hurt because jds is a relatively one dimensional fighter.
prediction jds 1st round knockout or brock decision
Nice to MMA maintaining a good ''main stream'' presence. The band playing Brock's old WWE intro music was a nice touch, I wonder if he has the rights to play it in the UFC. Probably not knowing Vince.
Nice to SEE MMA maintain a good ''main stream'' presence is what i meant. I thought Brock didn't like doing media work, all seems to be going to well it's only a matter of time before he flips out.
Well seeing as the WWE doesn't own the song itself, there is no issue. Also, its not the actual song, just a cover, so that even makes it less of an issue.
Brock carried himself well & spoke great. He looked like an ambassador for the sport last night.
wow, Jon Jones on Jay Leno and Brock on Jimmy Kimmel. just need to see the likes of GSP, Liddel or Couture on Conan now
I think you meant Jimmy Fallon, i wish it was kimmel hes way funnier. but your right conan needs one now
I've hated on Brock an awful lot due to how many idiot fans believed he was the best fighter ever and such madness. Now the myth is gone, I am interested to see if he can improve himself and how he handles Dos Santos. He wants to give that fella Mr Roach a call. Best of luck to them both.
is this a new fettish or something or do show hosts just like getting choked out by big bearly dudes?
Brock looks hella small. Hope that means hes quicker, hes gunna have to be to beat Dos.
Whenever a fighter loses a fight decisively, a massive hole in their gamehas usually been revealed. Sometimes you "just get caught", but most of the time, an MMA lesson has been delivered with force.
Brock Lesnar was revealed in successive fight with Carwin and Velesquez to be a one dimensional fighter--though submitting Carwin with an arm trianle was a promising development. But Lesnar's stand-up really needs work--and unless Lesnar can improve his standup in a very short time, I think he is toast.
He needs to go right now to Holland, Golden Glory, and maybe a short trip to Thailand for sparring--to eat, live, breath sparring--and continue to eat his vegetables, like mom told him to---and he might have a chance.
