Rising Heavyweight prospect Brendan Schaub, who defeated Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic tonight, discusses the knockout victory, as well as his future in the division. Now on a four fight win streak, 8-1 overall, Schaub expects a step up in competition. While he says he is open to the idea of facing the winner of the upcoming bout between Frank Mir and Roy Nelson, "The Hybrid" also expresses interest in facing another Pride legend in Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Dana White actually said it best when he said that that fight showed just how amazing Cro Cop was back in the day. I agree 100% Cro Cop was headed for a decision victory. I was really sad to see it end the way it did.

I believed Cro Cop would have too much for Brendan. I thought Brendan did really well tonight, he has obviously developed as a fighter and I look forward to watcching him in future.

Time for Mirko to retire IMO, he has been brilliant over the years...

Bye CroCop.. As they say.. Its not the glass chin, injuries or ring rust. It was the way of training and as Trevor says, the Octagon is too big for him.. He should've changed camps, trained in USA to get new techniques, strategies and get ideas from other fighters as well. For his last training, he was very isolated in Croatia.

BULLSH^T. It most certainly was an inability to take a hit. He was beating Shuab by a slim margin. His training was paying off and his strategy was working. He was minutes from what would have likely been a split decision victory.

since TUF i thought this guy was gonna do well in the future, but he has improved fast, if he keeps training hard he going to do very well i see him in the top 10, Scaub vs Nog would be a great fight, someone is 100% getting KO lol

Good fight for Schaub, cant take anything away from him, but if CC wud just pull a lil bit more intensity out of his ass then he may nt get beat so bad. he just dosnt seem to use all of his skill, namely the kicks in any of his fights anymore. Now i just hope that CC retires.

I really dislike schaub for some reason, don't get me wrong it was an awesome fight but I still dislike him,Maybe it's his attitude and stupid comments he makes.Hope they give him Mitrione for his next fight.

This guy could quickly become something of a legend killer. First he retires Cro Cop, now I can't see Nog continuing if he gets KO'd again. Schaub could really be a top heavyweight with another year or two of hard work and tougher opponents.

Nog is slowing down. I think that Shuab is looking for an easy fight with a big name. I hope that he is mistaken about Nog and gets destroyed in Rio.

I doubt it. I support Nog till the bitter end but he is a mere shadow of his former self in the cage these days. Would love to see him get one more submission win though.

I like the way this guy brings it. He's not afraid to stand & trade as one would think he might be after getting KTFO.

I don't think he'd have any trouble against big nog even in Brazil.
