UFC 149 has undergone yet another change to the card's lineup. First Jose Aldo was out, then it was Thiago Silva, followed by Michael Bisping, Mauricio Rua and now it looks like it is Big Nog's turn to bow out.

The latest casualty affecting UFC 149 is none other than Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. "Big Nog" has not fully healed from his broken arm at the hands of Frank Mir from UFC 140 on December 10, 2011. He has been forced to drop out of his planned match-up against Cheick Kongo. According to Sherdog, Strikeforce veteran, Shawn Jordan (13-3), will step up to take his place.

Jordan is coming in fresh off a second round knockout of Oli Thompson in his UFC debut on March 3 in Australia. Kongo is coming in from a first round knockout loss to Mark Hunt at UFC 144 back on February 25 in Japan, his first loss in five fights.

The main event of UFC 149 is still slated to be Urijah Faber vs. Renan Barao. Faber vs. Barao, ironically is a replacemnt fight as Barao stepped in for an injured Dominick Cruz.

This is gonna be my first UFC event, I cry a little every time one of these headlines come up. I remember when this was a ridiculously stacked card at one point in time...

I thought he was returning pretty quick after a bad break like he took. Hopefully, the doctor just recommended another few weeks of rest or something. I hope he didn't reinjure it rushing to get back in the cage.

This probably just made everyone who is caught in a sub by Frank Mir tap even faster!

Except Junior, he don't get caught

Also this means Kongo is the only fighter left from the original UFC 149 line up, everyone else is either replacements for injuries or swapped fights.

They need to rename this event to UFC 150 and push the others back as 149 has been a curse.... like not having a 13th floor in a hotel. LOL

Any more injuries and Ken Shamrock and Tank Abbot are coming out of retirement. LOL!

It may be safer to not even watch the fights. This card has become Taboo.

I'm not superstitious but I am now.

all the replacements and no-names, lack of stars, titlefight changed to interim fight, still gonna be 50$ when the awesome fx4 card is free :/

Shawn Jordan might not be as big a name as Big Nog, but IMO he's a more exciting fighter. I expect to see this fight stay standing with someone getting KO'd. Kongo has the experience and technique advantage on paper, but his lack of speed sometimes hurts him, and Jordan has the power and athleticism to pull of the upset.
