UFC 137 on October 29th is looking to be card of the year so far. The card is headlined by a dream match featuring former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz taking on the current UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. Two days ago the co-main event of Carlos Condit and BJ Penn was announced. To add to an already stellar card, we have a “striker’s delight” and a battle of the “The Truth vs. Fire”. Just announced, a battle of the lightweight stars Dennis Siver taking on Sam Stout and a light heavyweight bout between Elliot Marshall and Brandon Vera.

UFC 138 will be the promotion’s first event in Strikeforce’s home base of San Jose, California on November 19th. The card will be headlined by a big time heavyweight title match between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos. To add to an exciting card in the making, a middleweight bout between Chris Weidman and “Filthy” Tom Lawlor has been added.

UFC Fight Night 25 scheduled for September 17th will be the first event in Louisiana since 2002, headlined by “the battle of the Jakes”, Shields vs. Ellenberger. Just announced on Twitter, Evan Dunham will be taking on TUF 13 alumni Shamar Bailey in a lightweight bout.

UFC on Versus 6 is set to take place in the month of October. What is shaping up to be a very promising card, just added a welterweight tilt between Charlie Brenneman taking on Anthony Johnson. Also a lightweight rematch from UFC 115 between Mac Danzig and Matt Wiman.

Shamar is being fed to the wolves. Evan should walk right over him and get back to bigger fights. Stout vs Siver...instant classic

yea this fight made no sense to me. Why does Shamar get a shot at a guy that was just in title contention? They should've gave Evans Stout or Siver.
