Ben Henderson: If Frankie Edgar let's me touch his chin, I will walk away with the title
Posted on February 22, 2012, 12:54 PM by Joey SantosusTop Lightweight contender Ben Henderson, who will challenge Frankie Edgar for the Lightweight title at UFC 144, discusses his opponent, as well as his training and preparation for the bout. Henderson acknowledges that Edgar is the champion for a reason, but says that if "The Answer" gives him an opening, he will leave the Saitama Super Arena with the title.
Ben Henderson
"He does leave holes in his game. Against Gray Maynard, he left holes in his game. Against B.J. Penn, I think he still left a few holes in his game. He managed to get hit by Gray in both fights. He showed what a great champion he is by coming back from that, but the key is that he did leave those holes in the first place. If he lets me touch his chin, if he lets me grab his neck, if he lets me grab his arm, if I can grab an ankle, if I can grab a kneebar, or whatever I can grab, I'll be walking away with that and the belt."

bendo have a wireless microphone in his mouth..:)
WRONG
I kept thinking "Don't swallow that toothpick and scratch the fight!"
Stupid questions from the reporter. Frankly, I would be more intimidated in fighting a champion who steamrolled his last opponent, than one who was almost KO'd in the first round in his previous two fights, but somehow came back to draw and then win.
Sorry james... I meant to hit sharp but got weak instead, so... Sharp +1
