BJ Penn still undecided on MMA return
Posted on May 30, 2012, 03:19 PM by Mike DrahotaIn a video interview courtesy of Fueltv.com, legendary UFC champion B.J. Penn tells Jay Glazer that his return to the UFC is still uncertain. While rumors had him returning to face Gilbert Melendez and then Josh Koscheck, he squashed them by saying he will not be returning anytime soon. Penn did express some interest in another foray into the stacked UFC Lightweight division. Glazer did a great job trying to coax a concrete answer out of the former champion, but all he could get was a "Maybe." It appears MMA fans will have to wait patiently to see B.J. Penn grace the cage once again.

i rewatched the diaz fight yesterday and all i can say is DAMN bj looked so good in that first round if only he had the conditioning to keep it up. I truly believe if BJ had the endurance of guys like GSP he could not be beaten
Stay Home BJ....
wtf is up with some of these videos not being available in my country, im not from tibet ! !
Glad to hear he hasn't ruled out a return to 155. I would much rather see him fight at lightweight than at 170 against guys that have 15 to 20 lbs over him on fight night.
BJ certainly doesn't look like he's coming back anytime soon.....
Who can blame him? Does not need the money.... legacy already sealed.... Hall of Fame already in the books.... Relaxing in beautiful Hawaii........why bother?
He was born into wealth, so definitely not the money. I don't think he has anything to prove. His best days were days ago IMO. Hes still a legend.
BJ Penn the sport has past you by
I only want to see him come back if he works big time on cardio and if he doesn then we have a re-entry in to P4P top 10 -
In the first round he KO'd the much bigger Hughes in seconds, outwrestled and took the back of Fitch, outboxed and took the back of Diaz.
Seriously the only two guys I think that can contest BJ in the first round is GSP just being the better fighter and Edgar with his speed.
A good cardio Penn is almost unstoppable.
I'm glad this guy posts here. It makes it easier to identify the websites I will NEVER go to.
I think we have seen the best of BJ Penn.
So many fighters respect this guy and speak of his potential. But how long can you keep talking about potential if BJ doesn't deliver.
He has delivered he is a 2 time world champ!!!!
All good points I think we should start an online petition to get BJ to train for a marathon or something, think we can get 10k sig's bruce? We will have you personally deliver it to him in Hawaii then watch via web cam while he chokes you out :) seriously though lets start a petition. -BJ FOR MARATHON-
he's still respected but he needs to come back and fight again soon before people just don't give a shit
