"I have no plans on fighting anytime soon, so as far as that goes, it still holds true. I just want to enjoy my life, relax, and watch my brand new baby and my daughter. That's definitely part of it, I've been doing it for a long time. I'm having a very good time just living life and being a normal person. For the last ten years of my life it's been a roller-coaster: party, have a good time, get in shape, party, have a good time, get in shape. So, I'm kind of glad that I'm not doing that anymore. I'm just living a normal persons life, and I really enjoy it."

I'm glad cause your a douche and a punk, just retire already you goddam Has-been!
I heard it wasnt BJ that kicked your dog.
To Anton and Co., I'm kinda glad Lowkick is less prone to banning users than a lot of other mma sites, but when people take to the comments section to do nothing but abuse fighters and add nothing positive to any conversation, they really should be banned.
Please get rid this Keyboard Contender fvcktard.
Second the motion......
yeah Anton! lets get rid of this pri*k!
Your favorite fighter is jon jones....... baha
you are correct, your powers of observation, astound and amaze me, I shall sharp you for this reason.
A douche and a punk that would take your girl, bitch slap you and probably bend you ove for good measure. You keyboard tough guys crack me up.
Really smooth ,u just keep smashing your keyboard
It's clear to me thats what u'll ever do.
U don't really understand what it's about.BJ deserves the respect comin to him. He's been fighting for ten years now and fought the best.
He's been great for the sport.Hate to see him leave but respect to him
Or for that matter any fighter who kisses his opponents right after choking them out.
It would be cooler if he was abducted by aliens. Haha jk I think you mean to say inducted though.
Would love to see BJ back in the cage again, but completely understand his wishes to be with his young family. Your kids are only young once.
"have a good time, get in shape, party, have a good time, get in shape." Old school thinking. The "get in shape" thing implies he got out of shape. Maybe a clue as to why BJ's cardio tailed off towards the end of his career?
Didn't like everything thing that came out of BJ's mouth, but always wanted to see him fight. Must be tough to be a star athlete and deal with retirement.
I think BJ loves to compete but isn't so keen on the physical demands of training or the pain and recovery afterwards. He should take some time for himself and his family, you can never get that time back when your kids are young. I would like to see him return to BJJ competition, like Abu Dhabi, instead of a return to the octagon. He and anyone who has ever stepped into the cage, have nothing else to prove.
good for b.j. he's got nothing left to prove and hell, if I was a millionaire and had a family in hawaii I'd sure to the same.
he didn't like "party, get in shape, party, get in shape, party, get in shape" so now he's living like a normal person "party, kebab, party kebab, party, kebab"
