Been following McKee for awhile now, cant wait to see him fight in the UFC against top competition. Personally, I think Volkmann wont stand a chance against him but lets wait and see how it plays out! Exciting fight for sure.

Tough fighter, but this is his first UFC fight, and its not like he was facing the best lightweights outside the UFC either.

But you don't compare a guy making his UFC debut to the UFC champ and unarguably a p4p top 3 in the world. Come on man.

probably the most experienced lightweight in the ufc right now, but damn the division just keeps on getting more and more competitive!

Wait til fighters get paid as well as pro ball players.

Even Lesnerd might stay if he made that kind of money.

You can be a homo rap star and make more than these guys.

Experienced, yes. Experienced at the UFC level, or anything really similar, absolutely not.

And Takanori Gomi, Sean Sherk, Joe Stevenson, Clay Guida, and I'm sure a couple others all have a lot more fights than him and have faced much higher level competition.

He's a tough fighter, and I hope he does well, but lets keep it in perspective.

I uploaded his last fight against Luciano Azevedo, if you haven't seen it, watch it. This guy is an exciting fighter, and he's coming off a 15 fight win streak. I am definitely excited to see what he can do in the UFC. It's a shame he had to wait until 40 years old to make it to the big show.

he's a good fighter i agree but i wouldn't call him an exciting one. 18 of his 25 fights have ended in decision and they're usually ground out via wrestling domination.

Right, and that is why he wasn't previously signed. I think he will do well no doubt, but you never know until they get in there with some of the best fighters in the world.

Smoke another one, McKee. Maybe you can hold GSP's sweaty towel at one of his next training sessions, or wash his socks for him.

If this guy can work his way to the belt, then defend it as many times as GSP has I'll compare him to GSP. With the depth and talent the UFC LW division now has he'll be lucky to make top5 nevermind be champ. I hope BJ decides to return to LW because there's so many new exicitng challenges for him there and with the WW's of the modern era he is gonna be giving up quite a bit of size and strength with similar skill sets so it will be tough for him.

Seems like a cool guy, but if you look at his record, you can see why he wasnt picked up sooner. Majority of his wins are by decision. The UFC honchos were probably worried his fights would not be exciting. There are also plenty of younger guys chomping at the bit to get into the UFC LW division. Younger guys with more of their careers ahead of them and more potential cash for the UFC. Lets hope he can keep up with the young bucks, he just jumped into a pool thats really efin' deep with talent.
