Antonio Silva hints at Cormier being lucky, says he will fight anyone in the UFC

Strikeforce (Super) Heavyweight Antonio Silva is expected to be one of the few big-name Heavyweights to make his way from Strikeforce to the UFC, as part of the newly-signed deal between ZUFFA and Showtime.
In an interview to MMAJunkie.com, Silva spoke about his recent defeat from the hands of Daniel Cormier, and the future inside the UFC Octagon. According to Bigfoot, he will fight whoever the matchmaker Joe Silva has to offer, with sights on proving he's still a force to be reckoned with in the Heavyweight division:
"Cormier is a good person and a great fighter, but he should have also played the lotto that day," the Brazilian recently told MMAjunkie.com. "The first punch he landed took me out, and I was unable to fight after it.
I really want to fight in the best event in the world – where the best fighters are. It will be awesome if the Strikeforce heavyweights make it over to the UFC. There are many great fights to be made. It does not always depend on me, but the day the invitation comes, you may be certain that I will be ready to honor it and give it my best. When I receive the call form the UFC, I will fight who ever Joe Silva wants me to fight."
Antonio Silva is 16-3 in his MMA campaign, with 11 KO/TKO and 3 Submission victories. Bigfoot's only defeats are against Daniel Cormier, Fabricio Werdum and Eric Pele. In addition to his long-time camp at Imperial Athletics, Silva is now also a part of Team Nogueira, where he prepared for his "unfortunate" encounter with Daniel Cormier.

yes, he got lucky , because he totally didnt even mean for his fist to hit your face, he was hoping to sit there and sing you a lullaby and you would fall asleep, then some mystical force came over him and guided his every move. thank god for luck, without it , skill would be useless.

I know fedor fought top competition his entire career, he didn't lose 3 in a row, his opponets got lucky, catching fedor on an off day.

so in other words he is basically trying to discredit the amazing upset cormier pulled off.. its not cormier being lucky, it was him showing the world he is improving as a fighter, but it happened at big heads expense so like most fighters he's a little upset

Silva is a big punk p&^%y. Making excuses for his loss to Cormier. If thats the case, you shouldnt feel proud that you beat Fedor. You actually outweighed him by at least 25-30ibs. Silly Bigfoot, didn't he see Cormiers striking against Monson? He should have known Daniel had power in his hands. He's just mad cause i'm sure he overlooked Cormier.

Bigfoot is a good fighter but this comment is disrespectful towards dan. maybe after he beat Fedor he felt that he was unstoppable... but at the top of the heavyweight world it can take one punch to end that as we see all the time....
However by no means does that make it luck.

Above the comment section here are links to others threads, one in particular says "UFC fighter that are too much" If it had said "Strkeforce fighters who are too much" This thread would have fit quite nicely.

Just checked out Big foots record...He hasnt fought any big names other than Fedor, Werdum...thats it... Bunch of B level guys... He also tested positive in Elite XE and was suspended for a year. Using NOVALDEX... which is not an over the counter drug...banned...
Silvas people claim this and that but at the end of the day he still used this drug.....and they didnt deny it...

nolvadex is a counter steroid drug usually used after winstrol deca etc...do your research first

Not only that but Deca Durabolin or Winstrol V is a steroid and you use with noted side effects. Novaldex is used to counter those side effects...

Luck had nothing to do with it. I'm sure AKA worked that plan out with Cormier after reviewing Bogfoot's fight with Mike Kyle (an AKA fighter)
