Jon Jones Is Happy For Georges St-Pierre

UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion Jon ‘Bones’ Jones was on hand in the aftermath of the UFC on Fox 9 weigh-ins to discuss a number of prominent issues. One of which included the psuedo-retirement of long-time Welterweight Champ Georges St-Pierre.

‘Bones’ says that he is not at all surprised by St-Pierre’s vacating of the title and that he would also like to go out on top of his division. Jones also reveals to MMAFighting that he hopes UFC 172 will be in Baltimore, when he finally fights Glover Teixeira.

As well, Bones discusses sharing the EA sports UFC game cover with Alexander Gustafsson, stating that he was surprised and also that he feels he helped make Gus the star that he is now.
