In fact, it was Trevor Prangley who took Tim Kennedy down, but The Pit product showed great ground skills, delivering reasonable damage and advancing to the full mount position in the process.
Trevor Prangley has every reason to be disappointed with his performance, especially after going undefeated for six straight fights. Tim Kennedy improves his Mixed Martial Arts record to 12-2, and is currently a legit threat in the Strikeforce Middleweight division.
The official time for this contest is 3 minutes and 25 seconds of Round 1.

This guy looked fantastic, looks like the kind of guy with top 10 potential.
That was an awesome submission, proper technical, as soon as he got his forearm under Prangleys neck he switched sides, using his body weight to sink the choke in deep and Prangley tapped straight away. He's definately a guy who knows what he's doing, he looked great, got to say though, i'm suprised at Prangley, the veteran, getting caught so easily like that...........
The first time i watched Tim .K fight and hes great with a bright future in MMA.
