Reem is a true professional... he can fight someone and not take it
personal even if they are friends and that s how it should be for guys to say we are friends cant do it is BS this is what u do and at this level........
come on ,.....im sorry but would be a sign of disrespect if didnt fight..
hell I think I read that Reems brother said they would fight each other if it was for a belt....good fighter spar at 80% anyway ....to see Reem joking around w/ Verdum showed they had great respect for each other
I've watched the REEM fight for over 10 years now. I always loved Muay Thai fighters in MMA. He was always a dangerous fighter & has been in some wars.
However, since his size increase I had doubts about him carrying his speed. His style has totally changed in my opinion. He seems to kick a lot less & look for the big KO punch more than anything but he has surprised me & I respect him 100%.
The main reason is his attitude. He's is one of the most approachable & down to earth fighters in the world today. He's a true sports man outside the ring. In the Ring he's a animal. He's ALWAYS looking to finish & that's something the fans ALWAYS want.
After Bigfoots demolition of Fedor I reckon he's the only fighter that will trouble the REEM in the Strikeforce Tournament.
